I'm giving this a 4 star for overall experience. Contacting another was nice and easy and when I got the car, there were minor things wrong.
From the very beginning, when turo says it's "free delivery" it means they'll be picking you up from the airport, and dropping you off at a location down the street where the car is located so don't expect to get the car at the airport. Myself and another turo user shared the same car when picked up from the airport and we both thought the same. Also, they were about 30 mins late when picking us up. I requested to be picked up at 11am cause we landed at 1030am. The driver didn't pick us up until about 11:20ish. Myself and the other turo user being picked up were pretty pissed off.
Once picked up, they dropped us off at a mc Donald's parking lot about 10 mins away. No papers were signed and the exchange was simple. Be sure to check the car though! I opened the truck and noticed a battery cover missing. I pointed out all the things I found wrong (scuff on the rear bumper and the battery cover). However, I didn't check the gas until I was down the street! I pulled over and took a picture of the miles and gas. The driver left us with less then 1/4 gas, which I was pretty disappointed by again. The car didnt give us any issues so I was happy, it was a bit dirty from rain spots though.
The major downfall to this again the "free delivery" system. We had a 6am flight back to city, and when returning the car, they want you to drive back to the same mc Donald's parking lot and leave the keys in the car. Since our flight was so early, we had to drop the car back off and then urber it to the airport. The free delivery system kinda sucks with no being actually "delivered" to us. I'll most like rent again from them, you just need to manage your time and give yourself an extra hour or so.
