The Nissan Leaf is a 100% electric vehicle requiring 0 gas and produces 0 emissions! Range on a full charge is from 80 miles (driving 60-65 mph on freeway) to 60 miles (driving 75 mph on the freeway). If you're considering leasing/buying an electric car, this is a great opportunity to take one for a spin before making the commitment. This 2015 Nissan Leaf comes equipped with an on-board 6 kWH level 2 charger, charging the vehicle from empty to full in 4 hours on a 220v circuit, a DC fast-charging port, capable of charging the car from 0-80% in just 20 minutes as well as a 110v trickle-charger in the trunk that can be plugged into any wall outlet.
Since electricity costs me about 10 cents/kwh and gas prices are $3/gallon, compared to a car that gets 30 mpg, I'm effectively buying the equivalent miles at 75 cents/gallon!
Charging stations are numerous in the LA area and some are even free! Rent this car and you'll be able to make the decision on whether you want to pull the trigger on getting one yourself.
If you're already an EV owner and you want to maintain your 0 emissions profile while you're in town, this car is also perfect for you!
Also, for a flat fee of $40, I'll do a 1 or 2-hour ride-along tour with you and let you drive the car around and explain all the nuances and considerations of using an electric car. I've had a Nissan Leaf for over 3 years (last one was a 2012) so I know my way around an EV :)

Very helpful, flexible, and friendly. Thanks again!
I am interested in buying an electric car and thought I would rent one. Jason has a very nice new Nissan Leaf. He was kind enough to come to my office for the drop-off and pick-up. He is very experienced in electric cars and showed me how to use the car and charge it. He provided an EZ charge card. I mainly used the home charger which worked well. I suggest you also check the local chargers in your area as many are
different services. Overall the car ran well and it was a very good experience.
