Car is available from the SFO Turo lot. SFO Turo lot is located behind Aloft Hotel, 401 E. Milbrea Ave. Take Aloft/Westin free shuttle and tell the driver you are going to Turo lot. Departs every 15 minutes).
If picking up or dropping off at my house, please contact me via text or call. Please don't knock on the front door or ring the bell. I live in the back and can not hear the door and some of my housemates work nights so I do not want to disturb them.
Please pay cash at bridge tolls. If for some reason you cant, the cars license plates are registered with Fastrack. Just let me know and you can pay me cash or I can request reimbursement later through the Turo app.
The car is not set up to use the new I-580 toll roads in Livermore or San Jose. Please don't use them or you may get a ticket.
12/13/16: Vehicle was recently returned with a small crack near the right side of the windshield. It does not obstruct the drivers view.
Pick-up is available from the SFO Turo lot which is located at the Aloft Hotel, 401 Milbrea Ave, Millbrea or my house at 171 Flying Cloud Isle, Foster City. To get to the Turo lot from SFO take the Aloft/Westin hotel shuttle from SFO. It leaves about every 15 minutes. The lot is open 6am to 10pm.
Please no smoking (of anything) in the car.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT INSURANCE:
When it comes to damages, Turo's insurance is VERY limited, even with premium, in my experience virtually useless for damages under $3750. Be advised that just like a normal rental, the renter is responsible for all damages, lost income etc. Unlike regular rental companies, Turo does not offer a Loss Damage Waiver. I strongly advise all renters check with their personal auto insurance to see if they cover rentals, and further see if they consider Turo a car rental company. I have never heard of one that didn't but it's worth checking. Claims covering the deductible will be handled outside of Turo.
Per Turo Policy: All cars shall be returned in the same condition and level of cleanliness as when rented. If you aren't able to clean it before returning, no problem, I can do it. Just let me know so that I have enough time to do clean it before the next rental..
