No smoking please. Pets are OK. Please return the car in as clean a condition as when you received it - thanks!
Do I need to fully charge the car before returning it?
This is not necessary, but certainly appreciated. Electricity costs much less than gasoline. Please do return the car at least 1/4 charged. Letting the battery go very low is not good for it.
How far can I go on a charge?
At 55 mph, you can go up to about 60 miles on a full charge. If you use the heater, the range will drop significantly. To save energy in cooler weather, use the heated seats instead. You can also travel farther by going slower. The air conditioner is efficient and only reduces the range slightly. Remember that you can simply plug it in when you get home, or at any electrical outlet - you don't need to look for gas stations!
How and where do I charge your electric car?
You can recharge the car at home and at any public charging station. At home or at any electrical outlet, you can simply plug it in using the included charging cord - but it will take several hours to charge. If parking at home or at a hotel overnight and an outlet is nearby, plug it in and let it charge up while you sleep.
On the road, you can charge at numerous public charging stations. "Level 2" stations can take up to 6 hours for a full charge, but "level 3" quick chargers can charge this car in just a few minutes. You can use the free Plugshare app, for iPhone and Android, to locate charging stations in your area. Some charging stations are free, and some aren't. The Plugshare app will show the current pricing for each charging station. The dashboard display will show you how many miles you have remaining. Keep pressing the "trip" button on the dashboard to cycle through.
