Unfortunately I wasn't very satisfied with her service! 1. Her car was hidden inside an gated apartment community with no public access. She never showed up in person, and everything was remote controlled over the phone. 2. She was not clear about the location of the car, and it took me almost 20mins to find it. 3. The car has very little amount of gas left in the tank, so she just left $20 in the car told me to fill up the gas on my own and report back to her. In short, Not easy to communicate, No sense of customer service, and Not convenient at all! Ps: the car was not cleaned either, but easy to drive, can't complaint much about that part.
So thought I'd give Teresita another chance after her not following through on our first trip. We agreed to a drop off and pick up location and I still had to pick up and drop the car off at a location we never agreed on. Now my second trip I have somewhere to be at 7:45 pm and my pickup is 6:30 more than enough time to get me where I need to be. Time for pick up and Teresita is nowhere to be found and I didn't get the car until 7. Then I updated my trip to an additional day which she accepted and approved. The next morning I wake up to text and calls from her like I've stolen her vehicle and didn't communicate the additional day. After this ordeal idk if this is better then just going to enterprise or hertz I mean the extra cost would be for convenience and my time being respected. This was a terrible experience
She was extremely sweet!! Car was excellent! I believe it was the best I've ever had. Super flexible with drop off and pick up. Clean car, wonderful functions. A+ and response time was the absolute best. I had a hard time booking and she saved me from a miserable day with Turo!
Teresa was so amazing! I was having issues with my car and she was available same day. Also she was so flexible with me and my schedule. I definitely recommend her. She's very sweet and I was very appreciative of the whole experience!
First time using Turo and was a bit anxious. It was not an ideal experience, but that had nothing to do with Teresita, just the whole process. Teresita was excellent throughout the whole trip with great communication. The car was a pleasure to drive. Would go around again with Teresita.
Teresita was very nice and kind to us. Her previous renters dropped the car off late, so she was over an hour late dropping the car of at LAX. Which is not her fault, but did put us back very far on our schedule and made me very tired for my job interview the next morning. She also had her son with when she was dropping the car off. It didn't bother me because I love kids, but could have bothered some people. The car is great on gas and wonderful for two people! I am tall and there were points when the leg room was tight, but that was the only problem I encountered with the car. On all other accounts, Teresita was a very caring and kind person.
I've always really liked the idea of Turo/Relay Rides, and I have a lot of patience with the occasional snafu if it means I get that human connection and a good experience with a fun car.
But the shortcomings of this rental were particularly frustrating, and in the end I felt a bit taken for granted. The car wasn't where it was supposed to be, which I can understand, except that I wasn't given any instructions for where to find it. I couldn't get Teresita on the phone before Turo admin recommended I just cancel the reservation and look for another. By the time she did call back to clarify the whereabouts of the car, she suggested that the phone number on my profile wasn't working, which has never been the case in the past. It felt like an accusation, as if I hadn't held up my end of things. Lastly, the car is no different than a rental you might get from one of the big agencies. It's in good shape and served my needs, but the personal touch that makes Turo so attractive to me was lacking. These are all things that I could take in stride on their own, but taken together, it all felt a bit business-impersonal.
I think they're problems that could be easily solved, however, and I definitely appreciated the car once I was able to get my trip underway. I think if I were in a position where I needed Teresita's car again, I'd try to arrange to get it from her directly at a time convenient for both of us, and forego the Turo LAX lot arrangement.
Teresita was very easy to work through the rental period. I lover her Sonic - fun and economical to drive. If your coming to Orange County or arriving at SNA I highly recommend you consider renting Teresita's Sonic!
