Airport Pick-up Procedure:
a. Message us in Turo App before boarding in your plane: Expected arrival time and airline company.
b. Upon arrival, message us again in Turo App for us to pick you up at arrival area: Terminal # , Door # (Ex. T1-L1-05), or Landmark like Airline signage where you are near.
c. A driver will pick you up, turn over the car, drop him off to our location near the airport.
d. You're set to go and drive safe.
Airport Drop-off Procedure:
a. Message us in Turo app one(1) hour before going back to the airport: Time of arrival.
b. We will message you our Location Address near the airport.
c. The driver will wait for you and drop you at the airport.
d. You're set to go and bon voyage.
Location Delivery Procedure:
a. We will deliver the car to your specified address.
b. We will pick up the car after you're done.

Please know that this review is nothing personal but just exactly my experience with this trip. I rent this car despite a horrible review someone left a month or 2 ago with this car, mainly because I did not have a lot of option on Turo when it comes to "unlimited mileages" and "good on gas" requirements. And so with a click, the car was instantly booked, quick and done. But, sitting at my desk, the last bad review that a woman left really got me worried, so I messaged the owner to see if those problems in the review have been fixed. Hours later, I got a phone call from California, suspecting it was from Turo, I called back and someone who was in charge of the car went
"it was fine, that lady was just upset so she left a bad because she returned the car late to us". looking for some confirmation I asked "So the car is good? the tag is up to date? the headlights are not broken?"
"nope! Everything is fine.... except on the right corner of the car, there is some crack, but it's good"
And so I blissfully went with what he said. hell! I even justify it with myself "he got hundreds of good reviews, 5-star account, maybe it was just a mistake"
Finally, the day has come, I was at the car's location at 5:45pm ( I booked the car at 5:00pm, so technically, I was 45mins late picking up the car). Me and my friend checked it out, everything seems fine, and of course the was a something on the right corner, a broken light, not a headlight, but sure some light was broken.
I went on my trip, and then I started noticing the tire pressure sign was on, panicking i called and asked the owner again, is this car safe to drive? does it need air?
he replied "it just got air, maybe the guy that change the tire forgot to turn the light off"
I check the tires, they were bald ......... not feeling safe, I called back and asked for another car, but he said it won't be available.
To cut this short ( I know it wasn't exactly short because I wanted the owner to know I do not want to ruin his business, I just want people out there to be aware of this) it was completely my fault to go with the car in that condition, but at least I think the owner could have the decency to upload a true picture of the car, with current tires and the "crack" on the right corner of the car. Half way through my trip, I notice the car kept making this noise. I checked and the bumper on the right was actually flying in the air as I was driving. What did I do? I got some duck tape and tape it back. I'm almost so sure the next person will see some tape and I'm proud to say it is my work!
I'm not angry or upset. I'm just glad I'm home safely with that car.
3 stars for communication and again, I'm so glad I'm home.
The communication was ok, the car wasn't very clean, but that's ok too. What was a problem was the tires on the first prius they brought out were support bald, all four. They were happy to bring me another car, but it had two bald tires too. I took the car hoping for the best, but had a major scare in a Sacramento rainstorm . When the car hydro planed and almost got hit by two semis. I had to buy two new tires and the owner tried to tell me I was losing money for them. What? Really? Your cars tires wear out, cause a major mishap, and it's my fault? I don't know where you went to school buddy, but your cost is maintenance, mine's the rental fee, I paid my rental fee, and your car was not maintained. That's on you. In the end I just got the tires myself because I was headed into snow passes, and glad that I did, thirty minutes later I was in three inches of snow and heavy snow falling. I would have never gotten through without crashing. I'm sure the manager of the crew of cars learned something on this trip. But if it's not clear enough, Please do not put the car on the road if it's unsafe.
Absolutely horrible that he would let us rent a car with EXPIRED tags!!!!!! Got pulled over by chp had no clue about this until then ruined our family trip. Not to mention the broken headlight and the multiple people we had to speak with regarding this one car and he tells me he has 15 Prius's he didn't know what I rented. Ugh will be filing a formal complaint. Glad my family is safe
