The car should be returned with the same level of fuel. When you take possession of the vehicle it will be fully washed, vacuumed, and detailed. Please return the vehicle in the same condition or leave $15 to cover the cost of cleaning. This vehicle is PET FREE and SMOKING Free. Violation of the terms will result in an additional cleaning charge. I will upload all of the picture related to gas level, mileage ,interior condition and the body condition, for your trip on turo trip photos. If you see anything wrong with any of those things at the pick up time, please message me and let me know, before you leave with the car. Please drive responsibly. The car was just fine. I never met Reza, but he was good about checking in on my flight information. Honestly, it was very time consuming to get from the airport to the car. Shuttles only run every 45 minutes. So I spent a lot of time waiting. It's also a bit confusing where exactly you are going. That said, the car was in good shape, so if you don't mind taking about an hour to get to your car on both ends, you'll be fine.
Picking up and dropping off the car at the TURO lot was easy. The car itself was great and I had no problems with it. The only thing keeping my experience away from 5 stars was that he wouldn't accept my request to change the time. We were flying standby and needed to drop off the car a couple hours earlier which means we would've got $45 back. I requested the change and he ignored all 3 of them. He would message back and tell me the time to drop off was okay but wouldn't accept the change so we never got that money refunded.
Communication was absolutely horrible. Ignored my chat messages all day on my flight date. Responded an hour before I landed so I was left to worry my entire flight if he was going to show up. Upon landing I texted him back stating I was ready to be picked up. He ignored me for a little while only to finally respond with "I'm with another customer I'll be there in 10 minutes". He ended up showing up an hour later (1 1/2 hours after landing). Not apologetic at all about the delay. The car had an unpleasant smell and it was not clean. The gas was half full and the car shakes if you go over 55 mph. The car itself didn't break down but didn't exactly feel safe. On the return date he again was poor with communication. He started yelling at me about a car that a friend had rented from him and he wanted that back earlier. I explained to him that it was unprofessional and it's not my problem another customer was delayed. He continued to talk about the issue. Again extremely unprofessional to do this. The cherry on top came when we returned the car. He had us meet him in a parking ramp. I called him to tell him I arrived and he said he was with another customer. I explained to him that was unacceptable that he is juggling cars and inconveniencing customers. He hung up on me. He called me back a couple minutes later to yell at me say "I'm here, where are you?" I explained I was still sitting in the ramp and didn't see him. He ended up being on another level and upon pulling up I saw the other customer sitting in her car waiting to leave for the airport. He began to take pictures of the mileage at a leisurely pace while this poor woman was trying to remain calm. She finally proclaimed "I'm missing my flight I need to leave". I told him that we need to leave as well and need to hurry. We entered yet another car to fit all of us. He ended up having to take the girl to terminal 7 before taking us to terminal 3 so she could try to make her flight (she was visibly agitated and trying to keep her calm) I felt so badly for her. We were finally were dropped off and made our flight with 10 minutes to spare when I should have an hour. All around, this guy is trying to run a little business off of all his cars on turo but is not capable of it. He is hanging people out to dry, not taking good care of the cars and it just cash in. I've used Turo before, dating back to when it was relay rides and this is by far my worst experience. Would have given zero stars if possible. No clue how he has such good reviews, possibly the reward for giving higher reviews but this was an unacceptable experience, please be advised when renting from him
Everything worked out perfectly. We were picked up at the terminal at LAX shortly after arrival. The car was great and Reza arranged for us to drop it off a bit early when we finished ahead of schedule. Great service and we would definitely rent from Reza again. All the best.
