The pick up was good, and the car was good too, but before return, he send me email, and said, that i need to vacuum and wash car. That part was not in the agreement, so I didn't do any of that. On the pick up date, the gas tank was not full, i returned it full. Now he is accusing me of smoking in the car, even i never smoked in my life. When i picked the car, I already smelled cigarettes, and there was a couple dark spots on headliner when I picked it, and he is accusing of that me.
We did enjoy the car. Having a Prius made it very easy to drive around LA and very affordable. Sometimes it made some strange sounds, but that could be just being the first time we've driven a hybrid. All in all it was a good experience.
I wasn't too happy about snapping photo with license next to face. I was very unhappy about 0.75 per extra mile which I thought was a rip off. I ended up paying an extra 154.00 for my trip just to take the bar in Ontario. I was better off going enterprise or Advantage rent a car....Not happy.

Nice car, great mileage. Was an easy way to get around town.
The car itself was a 5-star. The poor communication and coordination is what brought this down to a 3-star review. The procedure to initially pick-up the car was unclear, and I was waiting in front of Albert's house for more than 10 minutes just waiting for some kind of response. I don't know if it was due to miscommunication, but Albert did not clearly respond to my inquiries. For example, when I picked up the car, the "low tire pressure light" was on; so I asked him via message if this was something I should be concerned about i.e. is there something wrong with the tire. Albert responded by literally just saying, "just put air." That was not helpful at all, and honestly came off as very condescending. He also later said, "Just make sure you do not drive it if it has no air in it, Turo holds renters responsible for tires no matter what," which was once again...not helpful at all. Overall, good car. Not-so-great communication. I never met Albert, and I'm sure he's a great guy. But, he was not a helpful renter.
The trip was awesome! The car is perfect and the owner is a very nice and attentive. I asked to extend and the response was quick so I didn't have to wait. Thank you very much it was my first and truly amazing experience with Turo and Albert!
