Our experience with Turo and Yusuf's Camaro was great and top notch. We were met at the airport by Carlos right as we collected our bags, and communication was excellent and timely. No need to spend a lot of time waiting in line at any rental car counter, as the car was delivered right at the baggage claim... seamless! The Camaro ran great and we had plenty of miles and no worries. When we were headed back to catch our flight early, communication was again great and we met Carlos right at our ticketing gate... boom. ...here's the extra mile... I totally forgot my backpack in the backseat, but Carlos had sent a message to let us know (at the same time I texted him)... he promptly returned to the airport and saved the day! whew. my fault but we made our flight and all was good! I feel the service was personal, caring, and better than a rental car company. One thing to note, is Turo will charge you an extra $25 to make any type of change to your original agreement (which may be accepted or not by the renting party), which is understandable given that the original agreement is based on specific availability... just make sure your times are correct before you book ;) THANK YOU TURO, YUSUF, and CARLOS!!!!!!
Super fun car to drive. I know you're used to taking a Corolla or a Sonata to work, but get this baby to hear her roar! Base model, standard features, definitely dinged up all over, but letting it lose on the freeway is a blast! Nice and close to the airport for pickup and drop off, and the attendants were nice and courteous!
What can I say about this experience? My flight got delayed, something out of my control. I tried to request a change to my reservation and shift it to later, so I could still make it to my hotel reservation ~130 miles away. Yusuf did not even reply to my request. I had to rent a car in a traditional - but reliable - rent-a-car to continue my journey has I could not change my hotel reservation.
Turo is not clear on this kind of situations. Their help was useless and limited to "we couldn't contact your host and cannot guarantee a refund'. At the end, Mr Yusuf got the reservation money and did not provided the service.
I cannot endorse Mr. Yusuf given his attitude.
I also can't recommend Turo: if you have a risk of a flight delay, you may loose your reservation AND your money. Like I did.
Seamless service - got picked up by Carlos just as I was stepping out of baggage claim and he even worked with me on the early drop off when I opted for an earlier flight. The car has a couple little dings but nothing to really complain about - was perfect for my trips around Phoenix. Will use again - recommended!
Loved the Camaro. The trip was great too. Needed to extend the trip a few hours and was able to do so with no problem. The car was very clean and well maintained. I'll definitely be using Yusuf for whenever I come to Phoenix
