<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Turo is seeking an experienced leader to help us build and scale our Employee Experience organization. Reporting to the CFO and working from our HQ in San Francisco, this individual will be responsible for all things people related including human resources (HR administration, HRIS processes), employee relations, learning and development, recruiting, onboarding, diversity and inclusion, performance management, and compensation &amp; benefits.</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Th</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">is leader will play a critical role during an exciting period of organizational scaling for Turo and will serve as a strategic thought partner to the executive team. This role will be equal parts strategy and execution.  We believe our people are our strongest assets, and that the success of each team member is important to Turo’s overall success.</span></p> <h6><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h6> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Lead the strategy, implementation, and execution of our people and places function across 160+ employees and five office locations</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Develop a comprehensive, integrated recruiting strategy to attract, retain and motivate top talent </span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Evolve performance management approach and tools to achieve a culture of learning, opportunity and high performance</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Build and evolve employee training and development programs</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Lead the design and administration of our total rewards including compensation and benefits</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Develop and evolve the people and places technology plan including HRIS, benefits enrollment, applicant tracking, performance management and training</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Continue to foster a diverse and inclusive workforce</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Advise the executive team on key initiatives and progress</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ensure the employee experience is consistent and always in line with Turo’s culture and values</span></li> </ul> <h6><strong>Requirements</strong></h6> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">10+ years of HR experience, with at least 3+ years managing a complex HR operations function at scale.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Change management expertise</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong relationship building skills in a cross-functional environment</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Working knowledge of state, federal, and applicable international employment laws</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Extraordinary learning agility, ability to bring prior expertise and adapt appropriately for Turo’s unique culture</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience selecting and implementing new systems</span></li> </ul> <h6><strong>Additional desired experience</strong></h6> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Startup / growth experience</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experiencing transitioning a company off a PEO</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Building, not just leading, a people organization</span></li> </ul> <h6><strong>Benefits</strong></h6> <ul> <li>Competitive salary and meaningful equity</li> <li>Employer paid medical, dental, and vision insurance</li> <li>Apple equipment</li> <li>Four weeks paid time off, 11 paid holidays, volunteer time off, generous parental leave</li> <li>Weekly catered lunch</li> <li>Stocked kitchen and beverages</li> <li>Company-sponsored happy hours and team events</li> <li>Turo owner matching and vehicle reimbursement program</li> <li>Turo travel credit every month</li> </ul> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We're an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
