With a talented, dedicated team, we have changed the way people think about travel.</span></p> <p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We are looking for a Business Operations Intern to help support key initiatives with Turo’s Risk and Customer Support operations, and to conduct data analysis to inform Business Operations improvements. This individual will support execution on a variety of projects critical to scaling Turo’s operations, which is expected to grow rapidly from the existing team size of 300+.  A successful Turo Business Operations Intern has superb communication, analytical and organizational skills as well as a desire to get deep into operational details.</span></p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Prepare strategic data analysis for the operations team; prepare reports for day-to-day decision making and use data to make strategic recommendations</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Conduct research on software solutions and vendors to help our operations scale</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Support the implementation of initiatives critical to scaling and improving Turo’s 300+ person operations team, ranging from software implementations, to new technology implementation, to process overhauls, to implementing new organizational structures etc...</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Passion for creating great customer experiences.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Well-rounded.  You’re a great communicator, good with numbers and quick to learn new technologies.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong proficiency with Excel.  </span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">An understanding of databases and querying. Some SQL knowledge is a big plus.  At a minimum, must have a desire to independently learn basic SQL</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Self-driven and highly motivated, with a true sense of ownership from start to finish.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Fluency in English.</span></li> </ul>
