<p><strong>***THIS INTERNSHIP REQUIRES A 6-12 MONTH FULL-TIME COMMITMENT***</strong></p> <p>Turo is car sharing marketplace where travelers can rent any car they want, wherever they want it, from an international community of local car owners. A startup founded in 2009, Turo is led by an experienced management team and backed by top-tier investors, including Daimler, SK Holdings, Liberty Mutual, Kleiner Perkins Caufield Byers, Canaan Partners, August Capital, GV, and Shasta Ventures.</p> <p>We’re looking for an entrepreneurial teammate to join our Marketing team and own significant elements of our Engagement and Content Marketing initiatives. You’ll be focusing on various aspects of user engagement and learning about activating customers, driving repeat business, and engaging customers with meaningful content and digital experiences.</p> <p>If you’re interested in spearheading key projects spanning multiple disciplines and collaborating closely with a small team to get the job done — and done exceptionally well — then this is an excellent opportunity for you. You’ll be tasked with owning and improving significant levers of our engagement marketing that have a direct impact on the overall business. The ideal candidate is a college junior/senior or graduate student, and this position is full-time, based in our San Francisco HQ.<strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Improve onboarding, activation, retention, and referral portions of the user funnel through email and content strategy.</li> <li>Develop and manage email campaign calendar for the US and international markets.</li> <li>Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and foreign marketing managers to project manage and produce high quality emails and campaign landing pages, and measure the ROI of various campaigns.</li> <li>Code and launch weekly email campaigns.</li> <li>Spearhead the AB testing plan, and derive a playbook from all learnings.</li> <li>Execute promotion campaigns, collaborating on the strategy and analysis to determine impact and ROI.</li> <li>Liaise with our email service provider as needed.</li> <li>Segment users, recommend and help produce appropriate targeted content, launch and A/B test promotional campaigns.</li> <li>Help improve the user engagement metrics dashboard that reports on KPIs.  </li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Recent graduate or currently enrolled junior/senior/graduate student</li> <li>US college GPA of 3.2 or a foreign equivalent</li> <li>Critical thinker who can communicate clearly and is comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously</li> <li>Proficient in conducting detailed data analyses and using metrics to drive business results</li> <li>Experience with Looker, Domo, SQL, or relational databases is a plus</li> <li>HTML experience a plus</li> <li>You enjoy good visual design, and have ability to produce compelling copy, with great attention to detail</li> <li>Top-notch oral and written communication skills, excellent time management, problem solving and organizational skills</li> <li>Experience working in a rapid growth environment that requires flexibility and continuous innovation</li> <li>Strong work ethic coupled with sound judgment</li> <li>Able to ‘roll up your sleeves’ to do what is needed in urgent situations while maintaining a ‘big-picture’ view</li> <li>Interest in travel, cars, sharing economy, and new business models  </li> </ul> <p><strong>Benefits</strong></p> <ul> <li>Apple equipment</li> <li>Weekly catered lunch</li> <li>Stocked kitchen</li> <li>Company-sponsored happy hours and team events</li> <li>Turo travel credit every month</li> </ul> <p>We're an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
