It was my first trip with Turo and it was fantastic. Everything worked out great with the Hummer EV, a super car. The communication was perfect and fast. I can absolutely recommend the host. Charging was no problem in L.A. Thanks for letting me drive your car!

I scheduled an at home dropoff and it was dropped off/picked up on time without any issues. The big issue on this rental is that the truck smelled of smoke (which is unacceptable in my opinion) and was not disclosed before dropoff. When I received the car, it was acknowledged and apologies were provided, but no action was done to remedy the issue (discounting/refunding the trip, etc). I tried returning it after 1 day but they couldn't pick it up early. If it wasn't for the smoke smell, the vehicle was great, a lot of fun to drive and communication with the host was easy. I would have given 5 stars without that problem and/or if there was a refund provided, but it's now a week later after the rental and nothing has been done.

The truck itself is an absolute blast. It’s in excellent condition overall as of time of writing (7/2024). Our only issue was it smelled really strongly like weed when we picked it up. I know it’s LA but they knew we’d be using it with our one year old son. I wish a greater effort to deodorize it would’ve been made. Especially since our pick up was delayed by 2 + hours because the prior stoner renters allegedly returned it late.
Overall, we dealt with Joshua whom handles the exchange for the actual owner. He was communicative and professional.
My primary purpose for the rental was to get an adequate test drive for possible purchase. It served its purpose. The hummer ev pickup is an amazingly fun vehicle!
