Brand new Rivian R1T to try out! We've been waiting for this truck to come in for more than 2 years and we can imagine others are still waiting, or just want to try out an awesome EV that has very limited availability. This is the perfect truck for a day trip over to Indiana Dunes, out to Starved Rock, or a weekend get away to Lake Geneva or southwest Michigan. Range without recharging is about 275 miles, but the display on the truck keeps that up to date in real time and shows nearby charging locations if needed. Yes, you can try out the 0-60 in 3 seconds, but please be an adult and do it in a safe location. Crashing this truck would be a very expensive thing to do. Off roading, towing with the truck, and bringing along pets are not allowed but if any of these factor into your adventure trip, let's have a conversation and we'll see if we can figure something out. Absolutely no smoking of any kind! If we smell smoke of any kind you will be charged $500! We keep this brand new truck immaculate for your experience, and we request you return it the same way. If you know you won't be able to clean up the inside for some reason, that's ok, just select the cleaning option and we'll take care of it. Finally, this is a battery powered EV and if you drive more than about 250 miles, you're going to need to charge it up somewhere. We can help you figure out charging if you're going to take it out of the area, and you should also consider the prepaid recharge option so you can return it with as little as 20% battery level. Selecting this option will free you up from sitting at a charging station somewhere for the last few hours of your reservation. A note on pick up and drop off times, we keep the time windows open from 7a-10p because Turo excludes results if they don't fit exactly to the time you search for. We do have day jobs and other commitments, though, so we might need some flexibility on the pickup and drop off times you select here.
