Please do not smoke in this truck. I am allergic and I will smell the smoke no matter how much someone tries to cover it up. It takes about a day to clean a vehicle and treat it with an ozone machine to remove the smell, so I will charge the maximum amount allowed for cleaning. Even if the scent is transferred from clothing, I still have to clean and deodorize it. Please be courteous. This is my property. Pets must be transported in car carriers. Any evidence of loose pets, such as excessive pet hairs (pet hair found on multiple surfaces) will be subject to a cleaning fee. You may not use this truck for "gig" work as an independent contractor for a 3rd party (Door dash, Uber, Lyft or any other passenger/delivery service). Your insurance does not cover such uses. Crossing international borders is prohibited. If you remove the hard top, you must put it back the way it was without any damage. You must use "Freedom Storage Bags" made for storing Jeep hardtops. These are no longer provided after the original set was lost during a trip. They are available for rent at $50 per trip. You must agree in writing that the top will be removed and reinstalled by no fewer than two adults and will be returned in the same condition as received. You may not remove the doors under any circumstances. This should be obvious, but a guest did that and did not store them properly, leaving a few scratches. If there is evidence that a door was damaged beyond normal wear and tear, I will charge $250 per door. Off-roading is not permitted under Turo's policies. If you get stuck, Turo will not provide roadside assistance and you will have to pay a service to help at your expense. In addition to being warned or banned from future rentals on the platform, you may be subject to a fee to clean the undercarriage where it will be inspected for damage. The vehicle has a tracking device that will send me a text alert any time this vehicle exceeds 85mph, which is already excessive and unsafe. If this vehicle is damaged as a result of excessive speed, Turo insurance will not cover any claims. If I believe that you are driving recklessly, I will notify Turo immediately. For the foreseeable future, I will not offer prepaid fuel due to the volatility of gas prices. If the truck is returned with noticeably less fuel than when rented, I will send one courtesy message to you so that the issue can be amicably resolved. If this doesn't work, I will need to submit a claim for incidentals which will result in a reimbursement to my account as well as a $10 refueling fee that Turo automatically charges guests. I hate doing that but with gas prices around $5 a gallon, I can't afford it. It's also a major inconvenience to future guests.

• Can I take this truck to Las Vegas or Laughlin?

  If your rental is less than 3 days, no.

• Can I drive to Mexico or Canada?

  No. Turo terms prohibit this, and your insurance does not cover international borders.

• Can I remove the hard top?

  You may, but any damage will likely not be covered by your insurance. The vehicle will be inspected on return.

• Can I use a toll lane?

  The plate is registered with a service that will process tolls along with a 15.99% administrative fee. You will need to reimburse me upon request. Billing takes about 5-7 business days.

• Are pets allowed?

  They must be placed in car carriers and secured. You are responsible for any cleaning and/or damage.

• I do "gig" work through a delivery app. Can I use this truck?

  No. Turo's policies prohibit this. Your insurance does not cover this use and Turo will not cover for damages that may occur.

• How do you know if someone is violating policies?

  All new vehicles are equipped with tracking devices, including this truck.
