Description

Great family vehicle with plenty of power, comfort, and space. We have used this vehicle for vacations, moving kids to college, and camping. We would love to offer this vehicle for families with kids and please no pets or smoking allowed. We treasure our time as a family so be considerate of the dates you choose so that our family can plan our time together.

Parking details

You can park your vehicle on the side street of our home (Wicklow Ct.). Please park on the right side of the 25 yards from the intersection away from other neighbors driveway.

Guidelines

Please be on time. If you want to extend your reservation just modify the reservation and request the time you would like to return it. If it’s available I will always approve your request. If you’re late there will a late charge assessed. If I am late I will credit you for your time. It’s important we are both punctual. Please read all of the FAQ for additional details and information.

Faqs

  • What happens if I smoke, eat or bring a pet inside the car?

    There is absolutely NO SMOKING, NO EATING NO DRINKING, NO PETS allowed inside car please or a $150 fee will be applied at end of trip! Please treat the car as if it was your own.

  • Do I have to return the car washed?

    Short answer is YES. Before every trip the car is hand washed and that is how it is delivered to you before your trip. It would be appreciated that you bring the car back washed as well. If you are unable to bring the car back washed, not a problem, there will be a $30 wash charge assessed (unless you purchased a prepaid card wash option) at the end of your trip so that I am able to cover the cost of the hand wash. Please see below additional details regarding cleaning fees and fines per Turo Policy: LIGHT CLEANING - $30 Car exterior is returned significantly* dirtier than how it was received (e.g. dirt on car body, wheels, or windows). Floor mats or upholstery are returned significantly* dirtier than how they were received (e.g. requires more than a shake-out to be restored to original condition). Large amounts of crumbs, sand, dirt, or food byproduct are left in the car. MEDIUM CLEANING - $50 Light stains or residue on hard surfaces (e.g. liquid spills or sticky substances). HEAVY CLEANING - $100 Major stains or residue on seat fabric or other hard-to-clean surfaces. SEVERE CLEANING - $150 Situations in which a car contains the aforementioned violations on an egregious level that would require steam cleaning or a full detail. PET HAIR - $150 If a pet enters a vehicle at any time without a host’s consent, the guest will be held responsible for having the car cleaned. Service animals are not excluded from this policy. SMOKING - $50 OR $150 $50 for smoke scent removal only. $150 for smoke scent removal and physical remnants of smoking (e.g. ash, cigarette butts). If there is damage to your car (e.g. a burn mark), you should submit a damage claim, not a cleaning reimbursement. MAXIMUM - $250 In the event that a car is returned with multiple cleanliness issues (such as a combination of severe cleaning and smoking remnants), the maximum fee that will be assessed is $250.

  • What happens if I am not able to bring the car back with full tank of gas?

    Car should be returned the same as it was delivered to you, with a full tank of gas. You also have an option to purchase a prepaid gas option. However, if you return the car without a full tank of gas and you haven't purchased the prepaid gas option, then you will be charged $5 per gallon to bring the car to full fuel level.

  • Can this vehicle tow?

    This vehicle is not allowed to tow any RV, boat, or trailer. No hitch installation.

  • How much fuel should I return the car with?

    You will receive the car with a full fuel tank. Please be courteous and return the car with the same amount of fuel. This vehicle uses 89 Unleaded Fuel Only.

  • What if I am late or early picking up or returning the car?

    It is completely understandable that sometimes unexpected things happen and this is not designed to penalize you if you legitimately experience circumstances beyond your control. That said, to prevent abuse and to keep things on schedule, I will asses a late pick-up (only if you are picking it up from me directly) and Late Return Fee of $25/hour, up to $200.
