☀️This awesome 2013 Jeep Wrangler Sahara edition will allow you to venture and explore Maui your way!!! Why spend💲on overpriced hotels and overcrowded pools? Instead, let our camper be your sleeping haven and the hawaiian beaches be your playground. It comes equipped with an easy to use and super comfortable built in roof top tent. Everything you need is included, no need to pay for extra necessities. As soon as your plane lands, our jeep will provide you with everything you need to explore the island's hidden beaches, campsites and all of the spectacular views that Maui has to offer 🌊🏝🏖🏄🏻‍♂️ The Rooftop tent comfortably sleeps two people with lots of space. It’s rated to fit up to about 650 pounds. The tent is set up with a soft built in mattress and comes with clean sheets, pillows and blankets. In your comfort kit we will supply you with: a folding table, 2 folding chairs, propane, folding grill, pot, pan, utensils for cooking and eating, can and bottle opener, cooler, and a 5 gallon solar warm water shower. **Please note that the only way to access the rooftop tent is by the built in ladder.** ***REQUIRED post-cleaning fee of $65. Please select this option in the EXTRAS section. This vehicle cannot be cleaned at a car wash because of the tent above the jeep. We hand wash our vehicle inside out as well as launder tent sheets, blankets, and towels. We also clean all camping gear (table, chairs, kitchenware) and restock propane tanks and cleaning products. All this to ensure that our next customer is a happy camper! ‼️Tent and camping gear is not available from August 31 thru September 14th. Price adjustment reflected on those dates. Camping area has picnic tables, portable toilet facility and charcoal bbq’s for use. Hosmer Grove and Kipahulu Campgrounds: For those who need an overnight escape without a backpack trip, the park offers two car accessible campgrounds: Kīpahulu and Hosmer Grove. Kīpahulu campground is near sea level on the wet, east-side of the island in the Kīpahulu area of the park, which is reached via the Hāna Highway. Hosmer Grove is on the way to the summit, high on the windy slopes of Haleakalā. At Kīpahulu and Hosmer Grove campground space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. No permit or reservation required or accepted. A person may camp up to 3 nights per month in each of the Hosmer Grove and Kīpahulu campgrounds. Hosmer Grove campground has a limit of 50, and Kīpahulu campground has a limit of 100 people, both with a 12-person group limit. Hosmer Grove Campground: Hosmer Grove lies in the cloud belt of Haleakalā, just below the 7,000-foot level (2134m) in the summit area. Be prepared for rain and cold weather. Nighttime temperatures can drop into the to near freezing (0°C); daytime highs average 50-65°F (10-18°C). The campground has picnic tables, BBQ grills, drinking water, and pit toilets. Sites are close together in an open, grassy area near the forest and shrubland of Hosmer Grove. A self-guided nature trail begins and ends at the campground. The forest comes to life in the early dawn with the many native birds in the area, making this a beautiful early morning hike. Kīpahulu Campground: The Kīpahulu campground is about 1/8 mile (.2km) south of the Kīpahulu Visitor Center. It overlooks ocean cliffs and is a short walk from ʻOheʻo Gulch. In the evenings, the sound of the ocean waves makes this a peaceful place. The campground has picnic tables, BBQ grills, and pit toilets. No water is available at Kīpahulu Campground; However, drinking water is available at the Kīpahulu Visitor Center restrooms. There are two general stores in the nearby town of Hāna (10 miles[16km] away) where you can purchase water and basic food supplies. Be prepared for rain, harsh sun, and mosquitoes. If you're up for a hike, Haleakalā National Park is home to a large Wilderness Area with a variety of backpacking experiences available. Wainapanapa (hana) and Polipoli(Kula) State Parks. PERMIT REQUIRED: Must get permit in Kahului (no permits will be given at campground site) campground has toilet and shower facility. Polipoli: PERMIT REQUIRED. toilets and picnic tables only. Remote, wild, low-cliffed volcanic coastline offering solitude and respite from urban life. Lodging, camping, picnicking, shore fishing and hardy family hiking along an ancient Hawaiian coastal trail which leads to Hana. Excellent opportunity to view a seabird colony and anchialine pools. Other features include native hala forest, legendary cave, heiau (religious temple), natural stone arch, sea stacks, blow holes and small black sand beach. (122.1 acres) Both of the Maui Parks, Polipoli Spring State Recreation Area and Waiʻānapanapa State Park offer tent camping in addition to cabin lodging. Waiʻānapanapa State Park is also the only State Park in Hawaiʻi that has a small area designated for camper vans. Campervan Rates: HI Residents: $12 per night for up to 6 persons; $2 per night for each additional person. Maximum fee per night: $20. Non-residents: $18 per night for up to 6 persons; $3 per night for each additional person. Maximum fee per night: $30. Chlidren 2 and under free. Must have a Campervan or on-vehicle mounted tent. Camp Olowalu: RV/Campervan: $20.00 per person per night Outdoor Hot Showers, flushable toilets, sinks and drinking water available. Also equipped with picnic tables and common areas with grill. Kayaks available for rental. From OGG, Maui’s Kahului airport, it takes 31 min (18.3 miles.) Please follow the signs to Lahaina on HI-380 and HI-30 S that will take you towards Māʻalaea. Pass Māʻalaea* and continue through Maui’s only tunnel. Slow down at mile marker 15. Turn left onto Olowalu Village Road and left again immediately off of the highway. Follow the small road that runs parallel to the highway, which eventually will become a dirt road. Continue to our office/check-in window located at the roundabout.*Please keep your eyes on this winding highway. You may choose to stop at one of the scenic lookouts, please do so carefully. Camp Olowalu’s beachfront campground is conveniently located about 10 minutes south of Lahaina and its attractions and amenities, e.g. restaurants, grocery stores, entertainment, and more. But you don’t have to go far to experience one of Maui’s most beautiful destinations. Olowalu Reef, spreads left and right from our beach and makes for a great snorkeling and underwater experience. And the best is, it is available 24/7, without charge, or the need to get on a charter boat. Camp Keanae YMCA: Ocean view spaces on a breezy cliff overlooking it all. Bring your own linens, sleeping bags, towels, cooler, food. Access to hot shower bathhouses, ice machine, fire pit and charcoal grills. (Bring your own grilling supplies [charcoal, lighter fluid, etc.]). Camp stoves welcome. Please note that there are no gas stations, restaurants or grocery stores between Paia and Hana, so please come prepared. The nearest of these is a 30-45 minute drive. On the grounds, there is a covered fire pit, a large grass game field and a full size indoor gymnasium/basketball/volleyball court plus covered outdoor seating to enjoy the views! The Jeep was amazing for our trip to Hana and beyond! Equipped with everything you need for an excursion around Maui. Camper top was easy to setup. My wife and I are bigger people and we fit comfortably in the camper tent. Highly recommended!

As long as you have a place lined up to camp this is the way to go. Tent was fairly easy to set up, just have to park on level ground and then unstrap it and unfold it and done.

Jon and Jocelyn’s Jeep was one of the highlights of our trip to Maui! It comes fully stocked with everything you need to have a successful night of camping and then some. We cruised the road to Hana, camped in Wai’anapanapa, and conquered the top of Halaekala in the Jeep without breaking a sweat!

The definition of a super host. If you plan your trip right, you can save loads by booking this vehicle and camping out by the beach a night or two instead of a hotel or air bnb. The camping gear provided is a super plus and is understated in the description. He also provides maps of Maui hotspots as well as hidden gems. For sure booking again, recommend that you book it too!!!!
