Booked Friday dropped off today at 4:00. I had to cut my trip short because of a lack of understanding and communication from Mary. I expressed concerns of safety driving the Jeep in the rain after it hydroplaned with me and my kids in the car while driving slowly. Mary’s only advice for me was to drive slower in the rain and that it’s a 4 wheel drive and there’s nothing wrong with the car. She was absolutely more concerned with defending that there’s nothing wrong with the car. She was not concerned with making sure I felt secure and safe. As the safe driver I am I pulled over and did some research on the vehicle. To Make sure I understood the Jeep. I learned that hydroplaning in the rain for Jeep’s is very common. And that can be so even with the safest driver. The Jeep hydroplaned and was doing the death wobble. I secured the Jeep myself and my family. I also went an extra step to thank Mary for her advice and to let her know what I had to do to feel safe. Mary still continued to express that there’s nothing wrong with the Jeep and that I could return it and book with someone else. She did not care if I drive in the rain in that condition. If I was not in San Diego and it was not raining i would have because she was very ununderstanding. I booked this Jeep in Rosemead May 1st to celebrate my sister 18th birthday Today May 3rd. When I reached out to Mary for a couple hours extension last night to attend my sister birthday dinner at 8:30 considering my drop off Time was 10 and I was in San Diego which is 2 a two hour drive. She proceeds not to answer my question and to tell me that she doesn’t understand what Google or reassurance has to do with any of this and that she was curious. I explained to her again and I was very thorough with Mary. I also resent my message from the night before my trip ended. Mary did not respond to me until I had already checked out my hotel and decided to bring the the Jeep early and in great condition. Mary’s husband took the keys from me and I understood how his wife’s lack of understanding inconvenienced my 3 day trip from the second day. I proceeded to thank him for his understanding and get in my car. Mary’s husband walks up to my car to ask me if I could talk to his wife. Being the nice forgiving person I am I got out the car and took the call. All Mary did was be rude to me and tell me that I did not want to listen to her. She refused to acknowledge my concerns and yelled at me. I had to give her husband the phone and not allow her to talk to me that way. I would like a full Refund for having to go through all this as a customer. My overall experience with Mary was not pleasant understanding or helpful when I needed it or expressed concerns of safety. It was a total inconvenience and an uncomfortable experience renting with Mary. This was my first and last time using Turo. I’m just giving honest feedback and I am requesting a refund.

You created a problem where none existed. All the drama to get a refund for the booking. Car was and is safe, never had an issue. Driving in 4” platform heels and being on the phone messaging the entire time dont do justice while accusing the car of hydroplaning. You were instructed to bring the car back if it was unsafe but refused to do so letting me know that it was fine. As far as my service, my reviews speak for themselves as we provide superior service to all. Will never rent to you again!
