Charge of smell is $200 and $250 if we found anything that related to smoking in the car. - Our cars required PREMIUM fuel only, please keep all receipts during your trip to avoid the charge of $100. - Customer are responsible to return the vehicle with the same same condition when picked up. To avoid $40 charge for cleaning fees, please purchase Post-Trip cleaning when you check out to save you $10. - All pets are allowed; however, car needs to be returned with pet hair and smell free. Smell of pets and pet hair left in vehicle will get charged $200 for a full deep interior cleaning. - ANY VANDALISM TO VEHICLE WILL GET CHARGE DOUBLE PRICE OF QUOTED FROM DEALERSHIP!!!

This is the best place to rent a luxury vehicle in Portland the staff is very helpful and you have such a great selection.....highly recommended

Vehicle was in disrepair...almost bald front tires. Got a low oil warning during trip. Called to ask how to handle. Asked me to buy oil and fill and they would reimburse. Provided receipt at return. Said they would Venmo funds and never did after multiple requests. Now not receiving any response. They are welcome for the oil to keep motor from seizing.

Overall a great company with a lot of cool cars. Since they have a fleet and a good sized team to manage them I guess that sometimes the Turo notifications get missed. When we showed up the car wasn’t ready but they did their best to hand wash and prepare it for us. The car had a faint but noticeable cigarette smell which was unpleasant but drove great and was reliable. I will rent from Lux Rental again, but make sure to send them a text message after booking to make sure the vehicle is ready. Nice team of people working there.

After booking, we were told to meet at Alaska Arrival for pickup. After multiple calls to the host asking for an update on their arrival, we were picked up from the airport 30 minutes late. Upon reaching the company’s lot, we were told that the car we had rented was not available and that a replacement would be made. After another 45 minutes of waiting in the garage with our luggage, we watched as the supposed replacement car was pulled into the garage and cleaned in front of us. We were then told that because we are under 25, we were not eligible for that car anymore. Finally, we were given the replacement car (which was never pulled in for cleaning) outside in the parking lot. Before we pulled out of the lot, one of the associates asked for my phone number, to which I said no. When returning the car, the same associate drove us back to the airport and was very short/quiet. After dropping us off, I received a message saying “Cutie” from an unsaved number with a local area code. It was the associate texting me after accessing my phone number through my account with the company. Very uncomfortable and unprofessional. To make the experience even worse, we landed back in our home state and received an email from Turo stating that the host was charging us a $35 cleaning fee for PET HAIR. To clarify again, we traveled from out of state and had NO pets with us. After messaging the host back and explaining that we would not be paying the cleaning fee because of everything that happened during our rental experience and that the pet hair was likely from the person who rented before us since the car had not been cleaned prior to us receiving it, the host left the message on “Read” and has not responded since. Approximately 24 hours have passed since this exchange and we are completely unsatisfied with the service. Never again. Only giving a 1 because we bonded with the car and the app won’t let me give a 0
