We will cover the cost of any Tesla supercharging or charging and you will be billed directly at the close of your trip (note we charge at cost and do not add a surcharge for this). 4. Tire tread depth will be measured before and after your trip. Excessive wear caused by drifting, track use or other extreme activities will be subject to additional fees. 5. Off-roading is not permitted. Per Turo policy, any dirt roads are also considered "Off-Road" and driving on these is not permitted either. 6. Upon return of the vehicle, I do ask that it comes back in the same condition that it was picked up in. There are free vacuums all over town for availability to use at your disposal. The outside of the rental I can take care of, but any excessive dirt or grime on the outside is subject to detail fees. I do not recommend this company. The first day of retrieving the car, I could not unlock it. Luckily there was a gentleman on site that helped after he watched me struggle for 15 mins in the cold wind…I Could not reach costumer service for 2 days. Could not find a charger in the area that I was staying and without communication, I wasted hours searching the city. I have rented cars in many cities since my sons are in AAU and have never had this issue. They charge me an extra $50. I will definitely look out for the company Resla in the future to not contract with.

This was my first time renting from Turo! I think the Turo app itself is good, but unfortunately I wasn’t impressed with the company I rented from! First of all, Tristan sent me a message 15 hours before I was scheduled to pick up the car saying there was a mix up and they needed to change my reservation! I confirmed with Tristan that my new reservation would still be the 7 seater Tesla I had rented, he insisted it would! It was NOT, only had 5 seats! Which unfortunately defeated the whole purpose of renting through Turo! I own a 5 seater SUV, I needed 7 seats for that day!
Secondly, Tristan said he would cancel my original reservation and send me the information for the changed reservation and insisted I would have it before I was scheduled to pick up the car! I did NOT! I called the customer service number Tristan had listed in his first message and spoke with Omer! After about 20 min he finally found my reservation! Omer said someone would call me back in a few min to get me the new reservation information! Ali called me back and was quite helpful! Unfortunately I had to call Ali back when I got to the car location, so he could get a car assigned to me! Ali had to text me a link to use as the key card for the entire length of my rental! Thankfully I was only renting this Tesla for the day for my daughter’s birthday festivities! Honestly it was just annoying having to find the link in my text messages then open the link to unlock, lock, or start the Tesla! All in all I was on the phone easily over an hour trying to get the Tesla and when we realized it wasn’t the 7 seater as it was supposed to be to be!
Lastly, I received a phone call from Turo about 10 hours into my 12 hour rental time saying Tristan was on the line and wanted to make sure I knew the Tesla I was driving was not the Tesla I had rented! The Turo representative was asking for license plate information for the Tesla I was assigned to by Ali (which I also sent a picture of the license plate and info to when he assigned the car to me that morning)! I explained the whole situation to the Turo Rep (which she was completely unaware of) and she did end up refunding a portion of my rental fee because I didn’t get the correct Tesla I had rented! I was confused when she called because she said Tristan (whom initiated the change in my reservation and who I thought I had been messaging regarding it) had called Turo stating I was driving the wrong Tesla! He is the one who supposedly changed my reservation!
Aside from not having a 7 seat Tesla (only 5 seats) and the whole reservation change/lack of communication it was ok! The Tesla was fun to drive! Unfortunately I don’t think I would ever rent from Tristan again because it’s obvious it is a company who rents these out and I don’t feel like their communication within the company is clear! I think Turo would be great if I had been dealing with an individual versus a company!
