A car just can’t traverse our diverse landscape the way a Jeep can! ✈️We offer free vehicle pickup and delivery to the airport and and free unlimited miles! 🙌🙌 Keep us posted on your scheduled arrival time as we can usually accommodate changes. We also offer free post trip cleaning as long as it’s not too dirty. 👍 🤿Rental Extras: We offer a lot of rental extras. Let us know if you need something that’s not listed, we will try to get you what you want. 🤙 🏔Mauna Kea: Travel to the top of Mauna Kea and sit above the clouds or watch the stars! Just be sure to check the road conditions online before you go and stop in at the visitor center before you continue to the top. http://mkwc.ifa.hawaii.edu/current/road-conditions/ 🌿Waipio Valley: Turo policy (as well as car rental agencies) requires you to stay on state maintained roads at all times. You can take the paved, narrow and very steep road into the valley and go to the right to the black sand beach. But you cannot take the vehicle to the left. Private landowners live in the valley so please be considerate of their privacy and do not trespass. Absolutely no driving through the water as vehicles have been getting swept away by the strong river current. 😳 This is a culturally sacred space so please be respectful with your behavior and as always clean up after yourselves - don’t leave anything behind except your footprints and tire tracks! 😉 🌊Green Sands Beach: This is also a culturally preserved area and you are not permitted to drive the Jeeps to the beach itself (there is no legal road for you to drive on). However there is a shuttle that will safely take you there. You can drive down to South Point and check in with Kala’e Cultural Historic Shuttle. Give Rodney a call at 808-339-4047. Or you can hike the approximate 2.5 miles in. Most people choose the shuttle option. 🏝Makalawena Beach: You can only access this beach from the south access point (the marked road with the beach parking). You cannot drive the Jeep over lava fields to get to the north part of the beach. You must walk the 20 minutes in from the south entrance. ⏰ Please reserve your vehicle at least an hour before you need it. We know you’re on vacation and don’t want to worry about cleaning. We will clean the car for you for free as long as it’s not too dirty. Absolutely no smoking or eating in the Jeeps is allowed.
