If you don't I'll assume you didn't read it and will Turo message, text message, and call you if there is no response within 5 minutes. 🌟I am a 6 year Turo Power Host with over 5,600 rentals under my belt. My response time to Turo messages and bookings is 2 minutes ! Read my reviews and rest assured you are getting THE BEST customer service available here on Turo. 🚙My cars are ALWAYS washed, vacuumed, and filled up before each rental. No worries about getting a sandy or dirty car from me. In return, you do have to returned my car in the SAME condition. I cannot stress enough how easy it is to get sand in the car here in Hawaii. If you cannot avoid it, please do NOT rent my car. More regarding this in the Guidelines Section farther down this page. ✈I live just 3.5 miles (12 minutes) from the airport so you can Uber or Lyft to my house affordably. 🆓After returning the car, I MAY be able to drive you to the airport or anywhere within 3 miles of my house for FREE IF I am available. Now a little about the vehicle. 7-seater Toyota Highlander perfect for cruising beautiful Oahu. Folding third row seats for more trunk space. Power windows and mirrors. Power rear lift gate for ease of loading and unloading. Cold front AND rear A/C. Please note that when the third row seats are up, the trunk space is VERY small. Does have exterior scuffs and wear and tear and small rattles, clicks, etc as is normal for an 11 year old car. It drives wonderfully and reliably.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. MOST first time Turo renters do not read Turo's fine print so here are the major points. Turo's Fees and fines page: https://support.turo.com/hc/en-us/articles/203990780-Fees-fines Cancellation Policy Page: https://turo.com/policies/cancellation?locale=en_US Cleaning Fees Policy Page: https://support.turo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000808347 Please do not track SAND or MUD into it. My BIGGEST peeve is sand. Many renters ask what the big deal is with sand and believe it is 5 to 10 minutes of vacuuming. If you can SEE the sand, that is just the TOP layer. Deep in the carpet is about 20 times the amount. I made a short 4 minute Youtube video of how much vacuuming is necessary to get rid of just a small percentage of the sand. Video is approximately 4 minutes long. Actual vacuuming time for just that spot took 90 minutes. Now imagine that all over the rest of the vehicle. Somehow the renter got sand UNDER my full set of Weathertech mats. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xpqMFlWVqU The best way to avoid getting sand in the car is not to hop in with wet / sandy swimsuits, towels, shoes, and hair. Do not eat or drink in the car. Spills and crumbs WILL attract ants and roaches as well as cause permanent stains. The next renter would not appreciate roaches in the car just like you wouldn't. Turo's cleaning fines will apply ($150). I take and upload 120 to 300 photos at the beginning and end of each trip to the Turo app. Interior (ceiling, under mats, under seats, trunk, etc.) and exterior (undercarriage, wheels, tires tread, etc.). I take pride in my cars and ALL are filled to the MAX, washed, and vacuumed (sand-free) before you get into it, unless a bad previous renter prevents this from happening. Some may have permanent stains that do not come out with shampooing. These will NOT stain your clothes. My car must be returned with a MAX tank of gas (as I will give it to you max). Turo fines $150 for returning a car dirty. For missing gas they charge a $10 convenience fee plus the cost of the missing gas (I will upload photo of receipt). The closest gas station to fill up at is Hele at: 4259 Lawehana St, Honolulu, HI 96818. -> https://goo.gl/maps/7kAwtDikbaP2 Please CHECK IN AND OUT on the Turo phone app so Turo knows what time you picked up the vehicle and what time you returned it. The WEB SITE does NOT have the ability for you to check in or out so you MUST download the PHONE APP to do so. Please upload photos of the interior and exterior of your own or Turo may not insure your end in case of any cleaning or damage claims. They may also charge you a late fee if both our checkout times are late. Do NOT checkout before the car is returned otherwise Turo will not cover you in case of an accident. A renter got burned exactly because of this and owed Turo $9,000 for the damage done to my vehicle and the vehicle she hit. You are responsible for all new damage to the vehicle (including tires) while it is in your posession. NO SMOKING weed, cigarettes, or vaping. NO PETS PERIOD ! You will be fined by TURO $250 without exception. If you get the car dirty, there are many car washes in Honolulu but the CHEAPEST one that you can go to WITHOUT an appointment that also vacuums (BUT NOT SAND!) and cleans the interior is McKinley Car Wash at 1139 Kapiolani Boulevard, Honolulu, HI 96814. $18.50 for cars and $21 for suv's and van's. Please check on the Internet or call them regarding hours and holiday schedules. They close on Sundays. When it's slow, you'll be in and out in 20 minutes. When busy, it will take 1 hour 30 minutes so budget your time accordingly. ONLY the person on the Turo account can pick up and DROP OFF the car. This is a TURO policy. You MUST bring a VALID NON-EXPIRED driver's license with your picture when you pick up the vehicle. I WILL NOT release the vehicle if you do not have a valid driver's license. Passports, green cards, ID cards, temporary papers, and pictures of your driver's license will NOT be accepted. If I do not upload the driver's license on my end, Turo will deny my coverage. I have had a scammer steal my car before and Turo denied coverage for it because they had a "temporary driver's license document." This is ALL in Turo's Policy. -> https://support.turo.com/hc/en-us/articles/204727440-Do-I-need-to-check-my-guest-s-driver-s-license- Please contact me BEFORE adding aything in the EXTRAS section for availability. After we communicate and I confirm availability, you can go ahead and add them BEFORE the trip starts. You cannot add them after the trip time begins. If damaged or lost, child seats cost $90, booster seats $35, GPS $90, USB chargers $10, and Bluetooth FM adapters $20. PLEASE SPECIFY if you need any. If not, they may not be available when you pick up the car. Turo's number is 1-415-965-4525 for free roadside assistance for towing, key lock outs, jump starts, and tire changes. For mechanical issues I may offer another car IF AVAILABLE. If not, the trip WILL BE ENDED and you will have to wait for the vehicle to be towed away. You CANNOT leave it unattended. The REST of your trip will be refunded. These are old cars. Even 1 or 2 year old rental cars at the big rental companies break down just the same. I send ALL my cars to Goodyear for oil changes and checkups EVERY 3000 miles so they are all properly maintained. NO EARLY PICKUPS OR LATE RETURNS ! Turo only insures my vehicle and what it hits DURING the rental period. A renter got into an accident 7 minutes after I released the car to him 5 minutes early. Turo said I was VERY lucky it was 2 minutes into the trip otherwise I would have been on the hook for $30,000 in damages to my car and the car he hit. Also, the car you are returning may have another renter waiting for it right after you. Wouldn't be fair to them to wait for you to return the car late. Please make sure you show up at and not before the end of the trip time as we will not be able to check out on the app properly and I will have to call Turo to end the trip manually and they sometimes have a long hold time up to 45 minutes. We will need to wait till the trip ends or for them to get on the phone to end the trip manually for us to check out. Turo charges late return fees so if you are going to be late, extend the trip BEFORE the trip ends so you won't be charged the late fee plus additional usage fee. You CANNOT extend the trip once the time of return has passed or if there is another renter next. If you are going to return earlier than the scheduled time you must check if I am available first. I do computer on site repairs as my job and they usually last 1 to 4 hours. I do Turo business only from 10am to 6pm 7 days a week. Please do NOT book my car if you need to return or pickup afterhours. My cars ALL have a minimum rental period of 3 to 5 FULL days days (72 to 120 hours). You will NOT see my cars available if you put a time period less than their minimum. Do NOT book the car for it's minimum period and try to shorten it. No off-roading (gravel roads, sand, mud, red dirt areas, etc) PERIOD. Be careful where you park or you may be ticketed and towed. We have A LOT of metermaids and tow trucks here in Honolulu, especially in Waikiki. If you do not take care of the ticket, there will be Turo fees, late fees, court fees, and collection fees on top of the ticket cost and will be charged to your card automatically by Turo. My renters get towed and ticketed on average 3 times a month. If you get towed, some tow yards require me to physically be there to retrieve the vehicle. I will NOT be able to get the car out of the tow yard right away. If this causes a problem of returning the vehicle back on time, Improper and late return fees will be assessed by Turo. I do NOT deliver to the airport or to your location. You MUST pickup and return the car to my house. It is ILLEGAL to do ANY Turo business at the airport. I have been fined TWICE by security ($500 and $1000) at Honolulu Airport. IF ANY of the above bothers you, DO NOT BOOK or if you already did, CANCEL THE BOOKING as soon as possible so Turo does not charge your card and you don't get charged canceling fees (second paragraph). Kevin’s car was really clean yeah it has its minor issues but it is a 2010. But the car gives you a smooth ride and the A/C works very well. Just be sure to avoid the sand or it could cost you one of two thing. $150 in fines from Turo or time for you to Vaccume it up.
