Professional, very communicative and no issues!

I originally booked a 2019 Mazda specifically for its upgraded features, but shortly after booking, the host asked me to switch to a different car at the same price. I declined because the replacement vehicle lacked the features I had paid for. The host then offered a 2017 Honda, saying it had similar features. I felt pressured to switch and reluctantly agreed—assuming the price would remain the same, but there was an unexpected up-charge when the host changed the booking, with no explanation or thanks.

The Honda itself was disappointing. It was noticeably creaky, and the key fob battery was dying, which caused repeated issues throughout the trip. The car often wouldn’t start, had trouble unlocking, and frequently displayed "key not detected" warnings despite the key being inside the car. I reached out to the host, and while he did offer to meet to fix the issue, we had a packed itinerary and I wasn’t comfortable having someone come to our lodging.

In addition, the Android Auto functionality did not work at all during the trip. When I contacted the host, his only suggestion was to try a different USB cord. I did, but it still didn’t work—leaving us with only one phone to use for navigation with Apple Car Play, which was frustrating as we were unfamiliar with the area.

To add to the frustration, I realized I had accidentally booked an extra day before the trip began and asked if anything could be done. The host responded that the trip was nonrefundable with no flexibility or willingness to accommodate.

Overall, this experience felt impersonal and inconvenient. I would not rent from this host again.

Our group had originally booked a car rental with a large rental company, but the rental fell through extremely last minute. In a rush, we decided to book with Jorge. He was very accommodating and patient about the situation, even offering an upgraded vehicle. We picked up the vehicle right off the airport (super easy to locate and only 5 minutes away) and checked into the car ourselves. The vehicle drop off was even easier and didn’t require any extra effort. We are so incredibly thankful that Jorge was able to offer us a vehicle last minute and kept the rental process as easy as possible. I would 100% book with him again. The vehicle was clean, had a beach parking pass, and had enough room for luggage. You won’t regret booking with Jorge!
