Description

The 2018 Nissan Rogue presses a lot of the right buttons in the highly competitive market for family-friendly SUVs. The Rogue comes with plenty of standard equipment, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility and LED daytime running lights, along with safety features such as blind-spot monitors and rear cross-traffic alert.

Parking details

When you put our address to your GPS don't forget to put "NE" or "Northeast" at the end of the street address. If you don't it will lead you to a completely different location. This is our office building. As you come into the subdivision make the first left and you will see our building. We are located at the end of the building, Suite E. For parking, you leave your car here as it is our office building and there is no charge for overnight parking but be aware that it is not gated and we are not responsible for any harm to the car.

Guidelines

These are strict but by following those, it will enhance the general satisfaction for the Turo community, you, and us. Rental Guidelines 1) No Smoking No pet. This is strict. A cleaning fee will be charged once detected. (It starts from $200.00, please don't smoke) 2) Only Premium Gas. Please bring your gas receipt or we will have to check the gas condition at the dealership which will also cost(Start from $50.00 and if there is engine damage, the cost will be tremendous. It happened once) 3) Please clean it up as it was, before returning. There can be any cleaning fee(Start from $50.00) for the mess. 4) Unlike other rental cars, this car is also used personally with our family. Please well take care of the car as it is yours. 5) If you have determined to extend please “Request to change trip” on the app, as soon as possible. As trips get nearer to the end, there is a lower chance you can be extended because someone booked the car already. This happens a lot. Else than that, enjoy and have fun!!

  • Q: Can I park my car overnight at the pickup location?

    A: Yes, you can. It is our office building and there is no charge for overnight parking but be aware that it is not gated and we are not responsible for any harm to the car. (Not applicable to the delivery option)

  • Q: Can I come earlier to pick up the car?

    A: When conditions are met, yes. You can come 30 minutes early with a notice in advance. No need to change the booking but there can be a few occasions when this is not possible(ex. Previous guest is late), so please confirm with the host. If you want to come earlier than 30 minutes please request to change the trip on the app. Even if you were not able to book earlier hours, most of the time you are allowed to request to change the starting hour of the trip. If it still does not work, please contact the host to see if there is any room.

  • Q: Can I extend the trip?

    A: Yes. You can do it through the app, you may check the eligibility on the app. Type in the date and hour you want and the app will tell you whether it is able or not.

  • Q: Why has the mileage included changed when I extended more than a week?

    A: It is because of our mileage policy. We have set 150miles per day, 1000miles per week and 1875 per month.

  • Q: Is there an option to purchase more miles besides unlimited mileages?

    A: Yes. You can purchase miles in 100 miles increments at roughly 40% discount on the over mileages fee. But purchasing the miles must be done before the trip starts. There is no option for this on the app so you may have to ask the host directly.

Tried to overcharge me for fees that we did not deserve, claimed we had pets in the car because of the hair left behind. The hair was about 8 inches long and came from my head; I am losing my hair due to a terminal disease. Very offended by the conversation after returning the car. Also tried to charge me for a “dent”; luckily we were thorough enough in our before/after photos to prove that it was already there. Seems like he was attempting to charge us for pre-existing problems. Up until this conversation, we intended to rent from him again because we quite liked this Nissan Rogue. Our minds have been changed.

Hi Joanne, I am sorry if you felt you were being overcharged. But please understand that we have informed the rental guidelines about the cleaning fee before the trip starts. Our policy is to bring back the car "as clean as it was". But the condition of the car returned was very bad, however we only charged the minimum cleaning fee stated on the rental guideline. Regarding the damage, it was our investigation team who proved it was from the previous guest and withdraw the claim ourselves.
