Description

PLEASE READ; do not select “Denver, CO 80249” location (your request will not be responded to if you do), as we do not have the car at that location. There is a delivery fee for this a car you are renting. To avoid Airport Fees, in additions to the delivery fee, select “Denver Airport Center” located at 7030 Tower Road, Denver CO Denver, instead of Denver International Airport since the airport requires that Turo collect and remit a fee for all airport reservations. Car will be located at airport shuttle lot for pickup and drop off. Please let me know ahead of time if you have any special request and I will do my best to accommodate if given notice ahead of time. Car is 4x4/AWD, so you won’t have issues if needed in snow. Car is expected to be ran through a wash, vacuumed, and in the same clean condition the guest received it in. One day rentals: we do not deliver for one day rentals. You will need to take an uber or Lyft to and from the car for your one day rental. We are a 15 min drive away from the airport. NO SMOKING (tobacco, marijuana, etc.),

Great first experience with Turo! Brian provided a great amount of detail for picking up & returning the vehicle.

Vehicle was dirty. Host admitted he does not clean Vehicle between renters, in violation of turo policy, which states car must be disinfected by the host between each rental. He then tells the guests to vacuum it and wash it in a car wash or he will charge you a $100 fee! He isn’t cleaning his vehicles then expects renters to do it for him, even though the car is dirty when you pick it up. As a turo host myself I know the rules and was disappointed they aren’t being followed by this host and that the vehicle isn’t being cleaned.

Jennifer - thanks for the feedback. You confirmed the trip based on my initial message upon booking, which you agreed to my terms. The only thing I do is disinfect between trips. With nearly 3,500 trips, we ensure the safety of our guests (and common hosts) by disinfecting our cars prior to them being sent onto the next reservation. Again thanks for your feedback.

Car was dirty, and smelled like burnt oil, the maintenance light came on and then Brian said I owed $60 for a chip in the winshield. DO NOT RENT FROM!!!!

“Share a public review to help inform the Turo community” This was by far the worst rental experience I’ve had on Turo. The car was in unacceptable condition when received- it was dirty on the inside and the outside, car chargers didn’t work, tire pressure light was on and car drove badly. Brian did nothing to accommodate his lack of upholding the expectation he set via the listing and for that I’m very disappointed. This airport parking fee is ridiculous and should be part of the cost to rent to car but on second thought, this car should not be on Turo for anyone to pay money for.

Brian as a host is fine; he provided clear instructions for retrieving the car at the airport and returning it. He responded quickly to confirm that the car was received back at the airport lot safe and sound. This Rav4 simply wasn't in good condition. It smelled like a previous renter had smoked pot in it and tried to cover it with air freshener, so I spent a lot of time driving around in the cold with the windows down to get rid of the smell. The windshield wipers were not in good condition (though Brian did offer to reimburse me if I wanted to replace them), and the steering needed an alignment.

Matt - thanks for your feedback. The smell of marijuana is not something I am able to control, however I do my best. The best thing is to inform me right at the onset, which acts as proof (third party - you - confirming the car smells of marijuana) so we can catch the previous reservation. Thanks again and take care.
