So many great things to say about this car, thrilling acceleration with a dual motor all electric drive train, smooth no shifting ride, all wheel drive traction and safety, comfortably roomy and well thought out interior features and a sound system you’ll just have to hear to believe all while enjoying a panoramic glass roof to take in all those breathtaking peaks! For the winter months, this vehicle is also equipped with snow tires for safer driving and Colorado high country compliance. To further keep you safe, the vehicle is also fully cleaned and disinfected prior to delivery in accordance with Turo’s guidelines as adopted from CDC recommendations. For convenience and to get you on the road quicker, we have two Denver International Airport delivery options: 1) free rideshare off airport grounds to our location (10 mins away) where the actual vehicle transfer takes place, or 2) a contactless self pickup in the West Economy Parking Lot (only option after 9:00PM). Detailed directions are provided in either case and either option is free to you!** Other pickup options include free pickup at our location or free custom delivery/pickup within 5 miles of our address. Please make sure to keep vehicle clean and smoke free during your rental to avoid any extra cleaning charges. Also, even though the use of cannabis is legal in Colorado for medical and recreational use, it is NOT permitted in this vehicle. Use of this vehicle is forbidden while under the influence of THC in any form as well as alcohol - driving while impaired is of course illegal and the legal penalties extremely harsh. Guidelines

🚭 No smoking or vaping in the car (tobacco or marijuana). If the car smells like marijuana post trip, we WILL charge a cleaning fee. 🧴 Tesla recommends against wearing heavy lotions or sunscreen in the car as the chemicals can permanently discolor the fabric, door panels and painted surfaces on the interior of the vehicle that come into physical contact with such solutions. ❄️ During periods of extreme cold, the battery will not yield as much range as stated. Please do not let the battery get too low without recharging. Total discharge of battery will leave you stranded and could PERMANENTLY damage or destroy the battery. 🚯 Please return car interior without any trash or personal belongings left in it - we do not require you to vacuum or clean UNLESS you’ve spilled, stained or really tracked in a lot of dirt/mud/sand. A good rule of thumb is to return it like you would if borrowing your friend’s car - if you don’t like your friends and leave a lot of crumbs, chip bags, candy wrappers, old parking receipts, luggage tags and shoe dirt on the dash, center console and door panels then PLEASE purchase the “Post-Trip Cleaning” extra :-) ⚡️ Supercharging fees will be submitted back to you after vehicle is returned for reimbursement - invoices can be viewed in “trip photos”. Additionally, a fee of $10 will be assessed if vehicle is returned less than 90% charged and $20 if vehicle is returned less than 50% charged. 😯 Tesla Idle Fees start 5 mins after supercharging is complete at $1 a min so please unplug once charging is complete and move the car so there are not any additional fees. 🚗 Feel free to use toll roads, however be aware that we will submit any charges for reimbursement after we receive the statement back to you and that Turo charges a small administrative fee to process it. ⛰ No off-road driving or extended time off pavement (this vehicle’s suspension and tires were not designed to withstand sustained off pavement driving conditions). Also, off-road driving presents a greater potential for damage to the vehicle’s undercarriage, underbody shields and painted surfaces. 🚦Do not abuse the car. Excessive speeds, harsh braking and rapid accelerations can damage the vehicle making it less reliable and costly for us to maintain. 🛑 Vehicle MUST NOT be taken out of the state of Colorado during rental without informing us BEFORE such trip begins.   • How do I find the location of the nearest Supercharger?

    Tap the map, in the lower right hand corner three symbols will appear. Tap the lightning bolt icon and all the Superchargers will appear with information on how many stalls are available currently.

  • How do I know if I will make it to my destination?

    Use the vehicle’s GPS and map out your destination. The directions will AUTOMATICALLY map out charging stations if needed and even suggest a slower speed if you decide to pass them up to conserve enough to make your destination. You are not alone, the car will help you to stay powered up! :-)

  • How do I open the charge door?

    Three ways: 1) press the button on the charging head 2) press the “open charge door” selection on the central display or 3) tap the charge door. DO NOT force the door open or closed, it will break.

  • How do I use the phone charger/holder?

    Just place a phone in and the arms and it will automatically close to hold it. As long as the phone supports wireless charging and there is no obstructive case, the phone will also begin charging automatically. To release, there is a green light near the bottom of the base, a finger swipe here will release the arms. There are also two more wireless chargers behind the door in the center console, again bulky cases may prevent operation.

  • What is the vehicle range?

    If charged all the way, the vehicle will yield approximately 320 miles, however to preserve battery life we only allow it to be charged to 90% or about 290 miles. Range is best maintained when driving reasonably though, so high speeds or constant quick accelerations will GREATLY reduce this range. Extreme cold and high heater use will also reduce the range dramatically.

  • Does this vehicle have self driving capabilities?

    This car utilizes TACC (Traffic Aware Cruise Control) which will hold your lane and speed and even slow down for traffic and safety. The Tesla website has mini tutorial videos on how to operate correctly.

  • Is there a charging cable in the vehicle?

    Yes, in the back trunk under the carpet is a 110V charger as well as a J1772 adaptor to charge the car at any station other than a Tesla Supercharger.

  • Why am I not getting as many miles per charge as the vehicle indicates I should?

    Just like in a normal internal combustion vehicle, mileage is greatly dependent on driving style and habits. When the Tesla presents an estimate of driving range on the screen, this is represented as what you should expect if driving the speed limit on flat terrain with no rapid accelerations. If you take advantage of a Tesla’s performance capabilities or even just speed, this estimate will be GREATLY reduced. Also as with all electric vehicles, energy transmission is not as efficient when it’s cold outside (especially with high heater use) so this will also reduce the miles one can expect from a charge.

  • Where is the registration, proof of insurance and Turo Incidence Card in this vehicle?

    These documents are located in the center console of the vehicle under the removable tray.

  • What is a Supercharging Idle Fee?

    Tesla Idle Fees start 5 mins after supercharging is complete at $1 a min so please unplug once charging is complete and move the car so there are not any additional fees

  • What would cause us to charge a cleaning fee?

    1. If the car smells like cannabis or smoke - we will leave the windows rolled down for 3-5 hours (if possible) and if we have to do more to get rid of the odor we will petition Turo for a charge. 2. Trash left in car unnecessarily or spills. We vacuum, clean and disinfect the vehicle for EVERY trip, but if we have to hunt into every crevice for candy wrappers, coins, cans, cups, chip bags, etc... OR wipe up spills that should have respectfully been handled already by the renter we will petition Turo for a cleaning charge. 3. Mud, dirt or sand left all over the floor mats, seats (backs too), door trims, door panels or even the dashboard as some seem to like to put their feet up with their filthy shoes still on. If we have to take extra time to clean this, we will petition Turo for a cleaning charge.
