This is not someone’s personal car this is a car rental business. When I went to pick up the car I expected a smooth quick pick up per usual but the car I rented was given to someone else. Instead of just giving me another car they drove us to where the other person took the car just to find out the car wasn’t even there. Luckily someone drove up shortly after with the vehicle. It was highly inconvenient, but Michelle was really nice and helpful.

Yes Lissete, we buy cars specifically to rent on Turo. We have many cars because we are a professional Turo host on this platform. I’m sorry to hear that’s a disappointment to you.
And yes we made a very big mistake that day. Our team accidentally made a big mixup with 2 cars that look very similar. We take full responsibility for this and sincerely apologize. We made arrangements for to quickly correct the situation so both guests received their corresponding cars. It won’t happen again.

Eric was very patient with me! Was my first time with Turo and I really appreciated his kindness and willingness to explain the details.

Car was perfectly fine mechanically, but was pretty dirty upon picking up.. although I was offered to have a wash done DURING my rental period which would have been later be reimbursed. Host was also about 15 minutes late to meet to hand over the keys, and was extremely slow in communicating and answering my questions, if at all. Thankfully my Uber driver was generous enough to wait for me during the painfully slow check out process, otherwise I would have been late to my flight.
Overall the car itself was okay. But I will say my experience with the host was very disappointing to say the least. I hope this review will be taken as notes for improvement as my issues with this Turo trip are all easy fixes.

Checkin process took exactly 60 seconds. (checked photos)
Responses were no longer than 2 minutes each time.
Dropoff was remote at home location. How could we be late for that?
