** CAR USAGE GUIDELINES ** PLEASE: 🔐🚘 Leave vehicle locked and windows, trunk, and sunroof closed when not in use. 🚫🚬 NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND IN THE VEHICLE. Any smoking will result in up to $250 added Turo fees. ⛽🔋 Return the car with a full tank of regular gas. Failure to do so will result in Turo fees + the cost of gas. I offer prepaid fuel as an Extra if you'd rather not worry about returning with a full tank - you'll have to submit a change request for your trip, and select the Prepaid Fuel extra. THIS CAN ONLY BE DONE UP TO AN HOUR BEFORE YOUR TRIP BEGINS. 📲🚗 If you use the phone mount magnets or the charging cables, please make sure to return them with the car or fees will be assessed. ⚫❗ Please no type of smoking in the car. This is a family car. 🚫🐕 No pets (sorry) ⌚🗓️ Return the vehicle and check out of your trip by the time your trip is set to end - late return and check-out will be subject to late fees. 🗣️🆗 Communicate! Is there smoking/vaping for this car?
Smoking & Vaping within or near the car is not permitted. There will be a fine if any lingering smell is detected. Please respect the car like an AirBnB home. Please do not carry any smoke scented clothing or paraphernalia that may also cause those odor to be transferred back into the car.
Do I have to wash the car?
Generally speaking - Yes. We will do our very best to provide you a clean vehicle upon pickup/delivery. We ask you bring it back within the same condition. If you can not return the car within the same condition provided to you, please add the post-trip cleaning.
Why is the delivery fee and airport fee so high?
Please consider the uber/lyft fee round trip for delivering this vehicle. Generally speaking, we incur about $30-35 each way for delivering and picking up a vehicle. Only 75% of the delivery fee you pay comes back to us. Turo keeps the other 25%. In addition to that, we are incurring cost from travel time, mileage, as well as fuel. When all these things are considered, we are taking a loss on delivering a vehicle. Pick up is always free and is encouraged.
Am I responsible for a flat tire?
Yes. Unfortunately, flat tires are a fact of life in driving cars, and you as a guest are responsible for a flat tire that occurs during the trip, as well as any related damage that may result from that flat or damaged tire. All guest must receive approval for a replacement tire and must replace the tire with one of equal or greater quality.
