How is the charging infrastructure in Scotland?
There is a strong network of charging points across Scotland. Apps such as Chargeplace Scotland and Zapmap reflect the charger coverage and will help your route planning.
How long does the Ford take to charge?
The charging time is mostly dependent on the speed of the charger, The fastest chargers will take the battery from 10 to 80% in less than 30 minutes while a 7kw home charger is the slowest so is best to leave overnight.
How do I pay for the charging points?
Most charging points now accept credit cards but older chargers can still be accessed using the Chargeplace Scotland app. There is a physical RFID card in the car which can be used if required for convenience,instead of the phone app, and will be recharged at the end of the rental
