Top rated Jeep rentals
For the road less traveled
Whether driving in the city, sun, or snow, a Jeep is the perfect choice for anywhere your journey might take you.
Jeep’s modern models offer space and utility for your family trip, and trail-rated Jeeps have the rugged power to back up their tough-guy looks. In a Jeep you can hit the high road, low road, or any road in between in just about any condition.
When the going gets tough, Jeeps keep going. With four-wheel-drive available throughout the lineup, any Jeep can instill confidence when driving through severe weather conditions, helping ensure you and your crew have a smooth vacation. Poor road conditions? No problem.
A Jeep Wrangler makes for a wholly original way to enjoy open-top motoring with friends: it’s the only four-door, five-seat convertible SUV on the market. Along with removable doors and a folding windshield, it adds up to the purest open-air experience, and takes your scenic trip to the next level.
With a selection of SUV models ranging from compact to full-size, it’s easy to find a Jeep with ample space for multiple people and adventure gear, making for smooth family getaways to popular vacation spots like national parks.
Driving a Jeep isn’t just for getting around — it’s a lifestyle. Jeeps let you do more, see more, and have more fun than cars that need to keep their feet dry. If you’re thinking about future trips, find a nearby Jeep on Turo for whatever adventure you’re planning, and discover why everyone loves the Jeep lifestyle.
The Jeep brand owes its very existence to the Wrangler, its most iconic and capable model. Robust four-wheel-drive systems, solid front and rear axles, and unique tricks like removable doors enable the Wrangler to go where other SUVs dare not tread. What’s more, the removable roof and ample back seat space allow for fun in the sun for your whole crew.
Essentially a pickup truck version of the Wrangler, the Gladiator blends that model’s ruggedness and off-road prowess with cavernous cargo space, thanks to its lengthened body and five-foot-long cargo bed. A strong V6 offers competitive performance and power, and the Gladiator stands alone as the only pickup that lets you go roofless on your outdoor adventure.
If you like your family getaways with a generous serving of refinement, Jeep’s top model beckons. A quiet and refined ride, a rich set of vehicle features, and room for adults in every row make for smooth sailing on the pavement, while Jeep’s available four-wheel-drive hardware makes the Grand Cherokee a rugged vehicle that can hold its own when the going gets tough.

No, you don’t need personal insurance coverage to book a car on Turo.
In the US, any personal insurance you may have that covers damage to the host’s vehicle would kick in before your Turo protection plan, except in limited situations for trips booked in Maryland. When booking a car in the US, you’ll choose between three protection plans — Premier, Standard, or Minimum — to get the level of coverage that’s right for you. With each plan, you’re covered with third-party automobile liability insurance provided under a policy issued to Turo by Travelers Excess and Surplus Lines Company — $750,000 for the Premier plan.*
When booking a car in Canada, you’ll choose between three protection plans — Premier, Standard, or Minimum — to get the level of coverage that’s right for you. With each plan, you’re covered with liability insurance purchased from Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC) in British Columbia and Economical Insurance Company in the other supported provinces— $2,000,000 for all plans.**
When renting a car in the United Kingdom, you’ll also choose between the Premier, Standard, and Minimum protection plans. Each plan includes different limits of financial responsibility for physical damage. Protection plans are not insurance; they are an agreement between Turo and guests about financial responsibility if there is damage to the host’s vehicle during a trip.
Distinct from protection plans, all trips come with third-party auto liability insurance from ERS (Syndicate 218 at Lloyd’s) managed by IQUW Syndicate Management Limited, arranged via Turo’s broker Lockton Companies LLP. IQUW and Lockton are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Under the enhanced cleaning policy, hosts are required to clean and disinfect their vehicles thoroughly before every trip, so you can feel safe and comfortable behind the wheel. Turo hosts have access to training materials on enhanced cleaning practices, using the latest recommendations compiled from the CDC, EPA, WHO, and vehicle detailing experts, to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
No. Unlike rental car companies, Turo is a peer-to-peer car sharing marketplace where you can book directly from trusted local car owners in the US, Canada, and the UK. Turo does not own any vehicles — Turo hosts share their own personal cars and set their own prices, discounts, vehicle availability, and delivery options.
Commercial Hosts are Turo-approved independent rental car companies or small rental car businesses that rent out their cars on Turo, and are available in countries all over the world.
Unlike the usual peer-to-peer Turo experience, you may be asked to sign a rental agreement or provide a refundable security deposit when you rent a car with Commercial Hosts. Commercial Hosts also provide their own physical damage protection and insurance.
There is no fee or additional charge for adding a driver to your trip on Turo. Only the guest who booked the trip (primary driver) can request to add drivers; Turo hosts cannot do it for you. We encourage you to request to add authorized drivers before your trip starts, though guests in the US and Canada can request to add a driver while a trip is in progress with no extra charges.
To speed up the process, have your additional driver create a Turo account and get approved to drive before you request to add them. All drivers must have a valid driver’s license and meet the age requirements for the car you’ve booked. You can request to add drivers via the “Trips” tab in the Turo app without additional driver charges or extra costs.
