As a renter, who pays for tolls? I do have a toll tag attached to each vehicle which will save you time and money zipping around DFW. At the end of your rental, I will invoice you for any tolls that were incurred while you rented the vehicle. I HIGHLY encourage renters to check on their GPS which way is best for them to take (tolls or no tolls) as if it is not peak travel time, it may be faster for you to avoid the tolls. Are you able to extend the trip or change pick up and drop off times? More times than not, absolutely. Unless there is another renter back to back (which for my own sanity, and anxiety I really try to avoid!) I understand that life may not go as planned and you may need extra time (just another reason for contactless exchanges). You will need to modify the trip through the application or website if you will be more than 20 minutes early/late. I've also found for previous renters that calling Turo directly for assistance is an awesome option. How does cleaning work? I will always ensure you have a nice, clean vehicle to pick up (there are few things worse in life than expecting a clean car or hotel room only to find it appears to not be cleaned since Lord knows when). Because the vehicle will be in great condition when you rent it, I do ask that it is in the same condition upon your return. What happens if you need something? Message me through the Turo app! I try to respond as quickly as possible as I realize you will not message me unless it is important and is likely urgent. Where do I pick the vehicle up? You will either be sent messages directly with pick up instructions, or it will be delivered to you at the airport. If you have elected for an airport delivery, we will need to coordinate (terminals, parking spots etc.) So this will be more case by case. How does fuel work? Any of the luxury vehicles do require premium while our more economy cars work just fine off of regular. Each car you rent will have a full tank of gas (I hate getting a car only to realize that I have the fun-filled duty of filling it up. Immediately.) which means that it will also need to be filled up before return. If the car is not full upon return, there will be an additional charge along with the cost of fuel.
