Mackenzie is a great host. This is the second time renting from her and it went as smoothly as the first time. The communication was outstanding and the van was awesome for our long trip. Will definitely be renting from her again!!

This was our first experience with Turo, and will absolutely not ever use them again. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle, there was some confusion. Once it was figured out, I started the vehicle, and the change oil message was on. Not too big of a deal. Before I got out of their driveway, the tire light came on, and a message flashed that the tire or tires were low. I called the host, and he said he didn't know why and that he had just put air in the tires the day before, tire pressure changes with the weather and to just put more air in. (Can't say it's ever been an issue with our vehicles, but okay). This same issue is listed in other reviews of theirs. After pulling onto the road, there was a noise coming from the front end that definitely shouldn't have been. At this point, in the interest of safety, I decided I was not going to take the vehicle, turned around, and parked it back where it was. I called the host again, and he said it was fine to cancel. I messaged him and said thanks for his help with the issues and with getting a refund. Not long after, I received an email from Turo saying the reservation had been canceled. Later in the day, I received another email saying my refund was refused by the host. I called him, and he said they never refused anything and to call Turo. I did, and they directly referenced their conversation with him refusing the refund. I made several attempts to call him back, and he will not answer. Because their vehicle was mechanically unsafe, I am out $330.38. This is a horrible way to do business.
