We took this drive to Disneyland from the Bay Area with the mindset of saving money on gas since prices are on the "high" side. The features of the car were nice. Driving this car was smooth and it took me by surprise on how the speed of the car creeps up on you. I took advantage of the cruise control and setting the distance of cars between the Tesla and the car in front of you while driving on I-5. The passenger doors were a plus especially when getting the kids in and out of the car. However, I felt like the outside sensor of the car was too sensitive because I had to override opening the door when what it was sensing was far enough not to be in the way of how the door opens. I probably didn't do enough research about charging the car beforehand but charging at the stations were long - it took us four stops to reach our hotel. I did appreciate how the charging stations were integrated into your trip on the maps and how much battery charge you had when reaching each station. Since there was a total of six of us, we had a a lot of cargo - three car seats, a stroller, luggages, snack and drink bag, etc. We were definitely packed into the car and had to use the space between the two middle pilot seats to put our stroller since it couldn't fit in the back nor front trunk. For us, the best seat for an infant is one of the pilot seats in the middle; forward-facing car seats worked well in the two seats in the third row.
Michael was very nice and responded to my questions quickly. He definitely lives up to his high ratings. I would recommend this car for mainly adults and older children if going for a longer drive (not for toddlers and infants).
