This was a pretty bad experience considering the kind of car and the cost. We were given an address to pick up the car that didn’t exist and then the car was delivered to a local spot a few hours after the fact due to a tire needing to be changed. The owner wasn’t in the country and so we had a intermediary to work through. The car interior was super dirty, and the door handles were falling apart and gunky and left your hands black. The A/C didnt work at all and the car had a small misfire at idle. The car needed water/coolant and also oil which I had to provide myself. It definitely turned off on us when we came to a stop in traffic. The trunk lock was loose and would slam on bumps (which in Guatemala are everywhere). When I asked the owner about insurance he asked me to take pictures of the car so that he could submit them to the insurance because it was going to lapse and then sent me the name of the app and the login so that I could do that for him... Overall, I gave it a two-star rating because the car did in fact make it the entire way through the reservation but was not in any sort of acceptable working condition and should not have cost the amount of money being asked for. I also will say that for better or worse the owner was responsive but I was driving the car for a week, so I sent a lot of messages to which he did his best to respond. Renter beware!

horrible! the car has no radio, one of the wheels exploded and the car did not have a spare tire ... I contacted the owner and he did not help us

The tires given to the user were new, 1 week of use. Derick did not use the car in acceptable terrain causing the damage. Besides, Derick demanded cash to the person receiving the vehicle and as she feared for her safety gave him her cash.

Marco was very attentive and easy to communicate with. He always responded right away and was very helpful. The car ended up not being the same one we booked - we got a Mazda 2 instead of a Nissan Versa, which was fine. It didn’t really matter to us that the car was different. The only negative was that the stereo didn’t work, which was kind of a bummer because we did quite a lot of driving :-( Other than that, the experience was good.
