Anything I am interested in is a hobby. Anything mechanical such as cars and trucks has always fascinated me. At 10-12 my father, a teacher(K-8 all subjects), taught me and other kids how to repair lawnmower engines. He would bring broken lawnmowers from the dump and I would fix and sell them for spending money. At 17-18 I worked at a local semi-truck repair shop under a guy whose talent goes unmatched. When technicians from the big city Freightliner shops are calling your boss for help you know he has talent.
After that went back to school and got a 4-year nursing degree. Worked IT tech for a local plumbing company. During this time I helped my wife start her in-home daycare. Then started work doing telecom equipment installation for Fujitsu. Ended up Install coordinator for MCI/Worldcom. After that retired to help expand the wife's daycare into Preschool. During all of which I still built computers, ran a website business and ran a dental tool repair business, plus built some engines and repaired various vehicles and light trucks and vans. Latest interest is vehicle suspension and particularly tires and how they can limit a vehicles abilities or maximize those abilities.
