This specific host attempted to scam me multiple times when requesting a reimbursement of $113, over gas & cleanliness of the vehicle upon return. After I disputed the situation through Turo, I was cleared of his inadequate claims, but that didn’t stop him from repeatedly trying to scam me by continuously disputing the situation for the same oblivious amount when the vehicle wasn’t given to me in pristine condition. Considering, the gas tank was empty upon pick-up, but was returned with more than half a tank. As well as, the car had multiple mechanical & electrical issues throughout my trip, alongside his lack of remorse & compromise after the situation. Mind you, I had paid $430 for 3 days of use & worked around the inconvenience of returning the vehicle to his house, which was different from the pick-up location, without troubling him otherwise. His lack of sentiment & compromise is a clear showing of his unprofessional business ethics. I felt harassed by him & am disappointed to have conducted business with somebody so unprofessional. I am a medical professional, and due to the scarcity of Covid and these hard times, I have little to no time to myself, my last vacation being roughly over a year ago, this was disappointing to have dealt with this level of unprofessionalism. Lastly, I have multiple third party businesses I go through, like air bnb, etc., and have had no discrepancies with the host(s) and vice-versa , being the host(s) have had no discrepancies with me as well.
