Joe was a nice person with a good attitude, my plans changed at the last minute and I had to reschedule pick up until the next day (Saturday) and he was understanding with me. However, I would NOT advise renting this car or ANY car from him. The reason I say that is not because of HIM but because I rented the 2015 Nissan versa from him and upon inspection of the car he told me the headlights were not automatic and I would have to physically turn off the lights by hand or the battery would die. Then he pointed out to me that the gas knob and hood knob were close to each other and make sure if I have to open the hood then firmly close it back. He said that the woman before me opened the hood by accident and forgot to close it back correctly. Resulting in the window shield being broken. I dropped the car the off to my bestfriends house around 2:30p and hopped in hers to keep the mileage down. I did not drive the car after that. The next morning at 5:35a we were all packed to go to Iowa for my graduation. After packing the car with her clothes and all of the stuff i bought? We are al ready to pull off and the car wouldn’t start. I tried to jump it with my friends car and that didn’t work. Joe didn’t respond until almost 8:35a. The tow people didn’t come until 10:45/11a. Although i explained the situation in its entirety? Turo said I couldn’t get a replacement until the car was delivered to Joe. The Tow man didn’t delivered the car to him for 2.5 hours. I was only renting a car so that my bff could come to Iowa for my graduation ceremony because her car wasn’t going to make it that far. I missed my appointment with the best nail tech in Iowa AND had to pay someone $100 to take us to Iowa. Today is June 2nd and I STILL have not received a refund .

Sorry things didn’t work out. A full refund has been processed by Turo. At the end of the day, the car was jumped when it got back and started up. It was checked out by a mechanic and they found nothing wrong with the car.
