I had a terrible experience with this reservation. The vehicle broke within 15 minutes I picked it up and started driving. Apparently there was a hole on the bottom of the car that caused the oil to spill. It happened on the freeway and was really frightening. Since I needed to continue with my family getaway plans, I asked the host to come pick up his car, which he stated it was a courtesy gesture since surprisingly the Turo procedure would be for me to deal with this problem. After that, I requested a full refund since all these only caused me problems and almost ruined my weekend plans. Unfortunately, customer support says they can’t process the refund without the host’s confirmation. Now, the host is trying to say I provoked the damage. He says I must have hit the vehicle, which is ironically wrong. There is no way I have done such a damage. Regarding customer support, no one seems to care about this issue. It’s been almost two weeks and no one has done anything to solve this problem. Very upsetting. Never using Turo again.

Karen, I understand your need to vent but you cannot live life blaming others for your mistakes! I feel sad that you mock my act of goodwill of personally coming to your aid, while you took off & left me on the bridge alone to deal with your problem. For those concerned-issue was caused by a large hole in the bottom of the oil pan caused by impact. Police verified that car had leaked out all of its oil within 200 ft of stop. Car totaled and delisted. Ran fine day before on a 1k+ mile trip.
