This was a weird experience. Be careful with this man, he is a liar. He tells you one thing over the phone and absolutely different thing in the message. He bothered me all the time since my trip started begging for money, asking me to pay him extra 30 % of the price for which he offered me his vehicle, stating that he put it in the app with discount as it would have been my problem. The vehicle was dirty when I took it and I return it clean to him. Also, I took the vehicle later than the time stated in the application, I forgot to change the time of pick up of the vehicle in the App, but my flight landed LA at 1:49 p.m, I spent considerable time looking for my baggage as the airline put it in a different place, plus a considerable time taking a bus for a Uber because in LA Uber is not allowed to pick up the customers from the terminal, so in fact I took his car at 4 p.m., but the App showed a different time - 10 a.m. Before I returned it, I spoke to him and explained that because I took the car later I want to return it later - he agreed on that over the phone. Later he sent me a nasty email asking to return the car immediately ( also I had to return it tomorrow, not the day he asked), then he informed me that this contradicts Turo policy. Later I received a letter from Turo and they charged me additionally for the time which actually was mine. As owner of the car in accordance with the rules in California the host may confirm and allow me riding and there is no violation of any policy because of that. This host first approved the late return and I’ve already made plans to return it late, and then informed that he does not want to allow me to return it late. This host is just a beggar, he is looking for your money and he is not honest. Please, keep away!

Hello. Sorry to hear about your bad experience. This is so shocking because you were so happy and excited when you returned the car. I read through your review several times and feel so bad when you called me nasty, liar, and money bagger without a clear reason. We met each other’s twice but you try to prove that I am inferior to you. I am a computer science graduate student and try this job for earning some money that is cut off due to Covid-19.
