Trident Installations is our family owned Commercial Drapery installations business. I named the company Trident after part of the United States Navy SEALS motto: "Earn your Trident everyday". Phil Salazar, owner operator and expert problem solver copes with the challenges of each day by creating margin in fishing, hiking, enjoying the arts and sometimes just pausing and taking in the beauty of a sunset, sipping coffee at sunrise, listening to laughter or simply allowing the quietness of being still in a forest, backyard deck or fire ring. "I love just picking on a guitar or listening to good music or breathing in fresh clean air while on a walk along a lake or river with the golden rays of sunlight reflecting off it's surface and feel the warmth of it's beauty upon my face".
I love travelling. I think that I was born to travel and to experience the world, it's people and different cultures. I'm curious in that way and I'll initiate a conversation with strangers just to hear a little of their story. I think everyone has a story to tell and I believe most people want to share at least some highlights of their lives with others. That is what keeps me curious and drawn to travel and to meet people wherever I go. I mean, I meet people everywhere I go., on a construction site conversing in Spanish with migrant workers, at the grocery store sharing a laugh with the check out clerk, at the airport with fellow travelers, the park, the lake with fishermen, at the coffee shop or at church. The moment presents itself almost everywhere, to meet people.
You know, a minute or two with someone you've never met can open up a new exciting awareness, revelation or empathetic understanding of humanity, of culture, of the pulse of our communities as we take time to meet and mingle with people for a moment to visit before we continue on our journey.
