  • What kind of gas does it take?

    Please fuel the car with premium (91) gas. The car will always be given to you with full tank of gas so please return it with full tank as well. If it is not returned on the same amount, you will be charged a fee.

  • How do I drop the top?

    In the middle console there is button to put the down/up. To put the top down please hold down the button until it is completed and vice versa. If you put the top down please make sure the trunk is clear

  • Where is the wind deflector?

    It is behind the back seat. You will see a button on the top left/right corner of the seat. Press the button to pull down the seat and you will see the send deflector.

  • Is roadside assistance available?

    Please call 1-415-965-4525 for roadside assistance

  • What do I do if I get into an accident?

    The Turo insurance card is located in the glove box. Please report all accidents to Turo as soon as possible. Always obtain the following information of each driver, passenger, and witness: -Name -Address -Phone number -Name is insurance company and policy number from all vehicles involved If possible please take pictures and/or video Call Turo at 1-415-965-4525 for 24/7 customer support

  • What is TuroGo and how do I use it?

    That’s a great question! Turo Go is technology that gives guests the ability to find, book, and unlock vehicles through the Turo app. You will need to have your location, Bluetooth, data/WiFi connected in order to check in for reservation (This part does not apply if you are picking up the car from the Turo Valet as the Valet attendant will do that for you). Only during your trip will you need Bluetooth to unlock/lock the car (applies to everyone). *Instructions will vary per guest depending on where the car is going to be delivered off and/or pick up from a location.

  • Can someone else drive the car?

    If you want someone to help you with the driving, you’ll need to add them as an additional driver. Secondary drivers must: • have an account and be approved to drive on Turo • access the vehicle only with primary driver present • drive only with the primary driver present •never have access to the primary driver's account information ‼️If you give your phone, account information, or other access to the secondary driver to allow them to drive the car without you, we’ll hold you responsible for any damages and may remove you from Turo.‼️

  • Can I extend my trip?

    If you need more time for your trip, notify the host and request an extension. In the app, tap “Change trip” to submit your request. If the host denies your request, you must return the car at the original time. If you try to start a Turo Go car after the trip end, the engine will not turn on. Get in touch with our Turo Go team at (415) 463-3200 as soon as possible if you’re running late and the car will no longer start.

  • What do I do if I get a ticket or toll road ticket?

    You’re responsible for paying any bridge or road tolls. Notify your host if you received a ticket or toll during your trip. As long as the ticket is not a moving violation or photo ticket, pay the full cost immediately. If you notify Turo and host that you’re going to pay a ticket or toll, and you follow through and do so, Turo won’t charge you any extra fees.

  • How can I connect my phone to the car?

    There are 3 ways to connect your phone: USB input - In the middle console there is a USB outlet you can connect your phone cable to Bluetooth - Go into media and connect via Bluetooth Apple CarPlay - Go into media and connect via Apple CarPlay

  • Do I have to pay for valet?

    Yes, guests are responsible for parking unless stated otherwise by host

  • What happens if I’m pulled over?

    The car registration and Turo insurance card is located in the glovebox inside of a white envelope. If the officer requests additional insurance please provide them with your own personal insurance card.
