Description

Whether you're a lady or a gentlemen, driving this hot number is a statement. They say big things come in small packages, and this 2008 Smart Fortwo is no exception. What she lacks in size, she makes up for in style. This minx is cute, fun and full of surprises: she can fit in places others can’t, with zippy handling, great bang for your gas-milage buck, and a deceptively spacious interior. You’ll embody her brash spirit— the laissez-faire, devil-may-care, freedom from all the expectations and worries of the mundane day to day. Step into the Smart Fortwo and you can’t help but feel foxy and fancy free, whether hopping on skyline drive, skipping over 66 or jumping over to Annapolis to catch some waves, the revolutionary spirit of 67’ lives on in this little love bug. Whatever your vibe, business, pleasure, take the ride with our 2008 Smart Fortwo. She’ll slap a smile on your face that won’t quit. Smart's Fortwo is the smallest mainstream vehicle available in the U.S. today. For some, that's reason enough to buy the diminutive vehicle, which is offered in coupe and convertible forms. Years after the brand's January 2008 debut in the U.S., Fortwo coupes and convertibles inimitable style still causes passersby to stare and point. You could fit the Fortwo and its 106.1-inch length inside the wheelbase of a Mercedes-Benz E-Class. The Fortwo is four-and-a-half feet shorter overall than the Volkswagen New Beetle, another iconic design. Fuel economy on the coupe and convertible is 33 mpg city/41 mpg highway. Not a bad showing with its 5-speed automated manual transmission and 70-horsepower 1.0-liter three-cylinder engine… Smart's designers use the car's Tridion safety cell as a focal point of the profile view… with bright-colored interior panels as well as two whimsical dashboard gauges: a clock and a rev counter. The Smart Fortwo's 1.0-liter, three-cylinder engine can keep up with most traffic… Accelerating from 0-60 mph will take 12.8 seconds. Handling of the 1808-pound car is stable as the Fortwo is wide for its length and the rear tires are wider than the front tires. The Smart features the Tridion safety cell (reinforced steel cage), electronic stability program, two front and two side air bags, electronic brake assist, acceleration skid control. NHTSA results in four crash tests: 3/5 (front passenger side), 3/5 (rollover rating), 4/5 (front driver side), 5/5 (side impact) 33 mpg city/41 mpg highway —Motortrend With its diminutive size and Fisher-Price-like details inside and out, the 2009 Smart Fortwo two-seater might seem a little more like a toy at times. Don't let that put you off too much; it's a real car—competent in the city and fun to drive in urban traffic. The 2009 Fortwo can, at low speeds, feel quite perky and nimble…. genuinely worthy of oohs and ahs is the Fortwo's interior space. Though it's just a two-seater, it can easily accommodate those over six feet tall, with more than enough headroom for all. The instrument panel also feels like a flashback to the econoboxes of the 1990s. —Thecarconnection.com

This was my first time driving a smart car and let’s just say it highly exceeded my expectations. Check in was super smooth, easy and convenient. Frederick walked me through everything since I wasn’t familiar with the smart car and I had absolutely no issues. The car was very clean, amazing on gas and I could literally park ANYWHERE lol because it’s so tiny. Though it was tiny on the outside it’s actually spacious for two. I would highly recommend this vehicle, especially if you’re in the city. Thanks for a great experience Frederick!
