Guidelines

Guidelines are clear cut and simple! Return the car in the "like new" & refueled condition you received it in. No smoking, damage, food/drink spills or foul odors. I love pets but, this is not a pet friendly vehicle; please no animals inside the Maserati. Failure to clean vehicle will result in reimbursement in the amount of the Post Trip Cleaning Extra - $35. Any abuse, neglect, or blatant disregard for these simple guidelines will result in reimbursements requests that can range up to or even exceed $250. Have a safe and fun trip : )

  • How do I manage post trip clean-up?

    My vehicles on TURO have car wash memberships to Blue Wave Car Wash. All you have to do is drive up to one of the Houston Area - Blue Wave Car Wash locations; the gate will raise and you can enter the car wash without extra out of pocket payments. My mission is to make your experience on TURO as easy as possible! Alternatively TURO gives you the option to purchase the "post-trip cleaning extra" - that way you do not have to worry about additional reimbursements at the end of your trip.

  • What if I am involved in an accident?

    Oh no : ( Unfortunately, the roads are not a guaranteed safety net. If in fact you are involved in a collision the first step is to call 911 and request police to the scene of a collision with another vehicle. The next step is to call myself "the host" and TURO (the TURO insurance card is located in the glove compartment). Be vigilant on the roads; navigate through the vehicle's features while you are parked and free of distractions (the road is no place to figure out a new feature). Do not rely on driving aids such as forward collision, and park assist; you are the driver in command! Stay safe and have a fun trip.

  • What happens if my trip runs longer than I expected?

    No worries - simply go into your reservation in TURO and request an extension. TURO will calculate the additional cost. As long as there is not a reservation immediately after your trip I will approve the extra time. Communication here is the key : )

  • If it's raining do I still have to clean the vehicle?

    Simple answer - yes! To avoid post clean up reimbursements still utilize the car wash membership and run the vehicle through the car wash and vacuum out the interior. Alternatively TURO gives you the option to purchase the "post-trip cleaning extra" - that way you do not have to worry about additional reimbursements.

  • Do I have to refuel the car at the end of my trip?

    Yes! I am flexible and understanding with the return of the Maserati with a full tank. As long as you are within 7/8 to a full tank due to commuting from the gas station to the drop off destination you will not receive a reimbursement request. For convenience TURO offers the "prepaid fueling" extra for post-trip return. It is priced within reason considering you are paying for 21.1 gal of premium fuel and the convenience of not having to go to the gas station! Pro-Tip: You can avoid the hassle altogether by taking care of this at the start of your reservation. Purchase the prepaid refueling extra.
