Description

I’m just an ordinary guy (ex-military) who realized that big car rental agencies are a rip-off in the modern sharing economy. My buddy from Japan had a really bad experience when he came to LA recently. A big firm got him to buy liability insurance that he didn’t really need, so I told him to cancel it. The agency agreed, but after making us drive back to the airport twice, they kept making excuses why they couldn’t refund his money: they said he had to fill up the tank, go through inspection, and do the whole contract over again! Then they said he had to take the car to LAX—if not, they said he would have to return the car and then pay $79 a day for the car (he rented it for under $40) if he didn’t go to LAX, etc. After seeing how they treated him, I thought that there was a real need for a better way to rent a car—and I found Turo. This site is a place where you can get a decent car without being gouged for insurance or ripped off on price just because you didn’t make the reservation two months in advance—you get the same price two days in advance as you would two months in advance. I know how bad it can be renting a car, and I’ll do my best to make sure your rental is honest, fair, and easy. This is not an ordinary Civic—this one looks great! It’s “blacked out”: black paint, black interior, black rims, tinted windows, etc. And the 2017 Honda Civic LX is a great little car—beautiful and very peppy and fun-to-drive with great gas mileage. Of course, you know what it looks like already: probably the best looking car in the compact class (Toyota Corolla, Nissan Sentra, Chevrolet Cruze, Ford Focus, Hyundai Elantra, and Mazda3). But it’s also tops in class in gas mileage (non-hybrid) at 28 mpg City/ 40 mpg Highway, as well as 2nd in horsepower (158 hp)—behind only the Volkswagen Golf (170 hp). And it got a 5-star safety rating from the NHTSA, which is the top score you can get. It was the 2017 Motorist Choice Winner Compact Car from IntelliChoice and AutoPacific. What was it worst in class in? It was 7th in class in price! Here are the details on the car itself: The LX is the standard Civic, but it comes with some great stuff in that package. Standard equipment includes a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine (158 horsepower, 138 pound-feet of torque), automatic transmission, black wheels, automatic headlights, LED daytime running lights and taillights, full power accessories, 60/40-split folding rear seatbacks, cruise control, an expanded-view driver side mirror, automatic climate control, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel and manual front seats with driver height adjustment. Electronics features include a 5-inch central display screen, a rearview camera, Bluetooth (phone and audio), and a four-speaker sound system with a USB port. The trunk measures a huge 15.1 cubic feet, with space for several large suitcases! The opening for the trunk is wide and low, so it’s easy to load your luggage. 2017 Honda Civic Specs & Features Bluetooth Wireless Technology Cruise Control Hands Free Phone Remote Keyless Entry USB Port Entertainment MP3 Player Bluetooth Streaming Audio Seating Folding Rear Seat Cloth Seats Fuel Economy: #1 in its class!
