Guidelines

***CLEAN CAR POLICY: Note that Turo terms & conditions require that the car is returned in the same condition it was received. Photos will be taken before and after rental. If the car is noticeably dirtier upon return a cleaning fee of $40 will be incurred. If it is returned in an extraordinary dirty condition, up to $200 fee could be incurred. Please return the car in as-good or better condition than when you received it. Glitter will result in a $150 cleaning fee. Food and drink is allowed. Stains resulting from food and/or drink will be charged a deep cleaning fee of $250. *** NO PETS ALLOWED. NO EXCEPTIONS. Other guests may be allergic to your pet and it is incredibly difficult to remove all traces of pet hair and dander. If there is evidence of pets in the vehicle after your trip you will be charged an additional $400 deep cleaning fee. *** NO SMOKING in the car. This includes but is not limited to Cigarettes, Cigars, Marijuana, Vape, Air Fresheners, etc. Smoke smell will result in a $250 deep cleaning fee to remove the smell. ***Violation and Tolls*** Please pay caution to all parking signs and tolls to avoid getting violation notice. --Unpaid violation notice will be mailed to us during or after trip. I'll send you message on turo with option to clear it yourself. $25 convenient fee apply if I have to pay the invoices. ***Electricity*** The EV will have about 90% charge (about 200 mile range) upon pick-up. FREE! NO CHARGE for the return with less electricity. Please return with at least 30 mile range.

  • What happen if I run out of electricity?

    Please be mindful that you are using a 100% electric vehicle. Your trip route plan for the day is important. If you notice the car driving range is low, you should find a charging station nearby to charge up the vehicle. It is the guest responsibility for towing if the car runs out of battery.

  • Do you have any contact information in case of emergency?

    Yes, Host or co-host will provide contact email/text/mobile number for 24/7 contact in case of any questions or concerns during your trip. Typical response time is within 10 minutes.

  • What are the charging options?

    This EV will have at least 80% charged for about 180 mile driving range. This EV DOES NOT need to be returned with the same charge level to give my guest the best experience. This brand new Nissan LEAF+ can be charged with a level 2 or level 3 quick DC charger called “CHAdeMO” Charge Level 3 compatible (approx. 80mi. per hr.of charge) Charge Level 2 240V AC compatible (approx 30mi. per hr. of charge) Charging at a CHAdeMO DC 50 kWh quick charge location (About 80% of charge in 45 minutes) *Please note: After 45 minutes of charging with a DC quick charge station the rate slows down to keep the battery from being damaged. *****ALL NISSAN DEALERSHIPS IN THE US PROVIDE FREE LEVEL 2 AND/OR FAST DC CHARGING***** Unlike Tesla, you won’t need to wait for a charger =)

    Yes, this Nissan LEAF+ EV has a built-in GPS location tracking device as a standard feature for this vehicle. This security feature helps locating the vehicle when it is lost or stolen.

Billy was the most amazing host. Not only did he make learning how to plug the vehicle in to charge, he left notes Incase you ran into any problems. He even dropped us off at the airport so we didn’t have to take the shuttle. Normally we are judged pretty heavy being covered in tattoos but he treated us like humans, it was refreshing. He made this experience, truly one to write about.
