Car runs smoothly. However, that’s where the positives end. The car key remote doesn’t work, so you have to manually lock and unlock doors. Zehua doesn’t meet you in person, he instead asks you to send license night before in the app or via text/email. I arrived to the car and it was absolutely filthy inside. Something had been spilled all over seats and it even exploded onto ceiling of car. It looks like someone made a really bad attempt to clean it but left much of the spillage behind. I had to get to meetings, so I took all the pictures and took the car. When I arrived at car, the exterior of the car was dirty and had some light damage, nothing compared to the filth inside the car. When I reached out to Zehua about the state of the car, he only said “ sorry, been a crazy holiday.” I explained to him that this wasn’t an acceptable response and the car wasn’t worth the price in this state. He didn’t respond back. Had he offered something for this disservice, I’d at least be able to say he tried to fix situation and give higher rating. I thought he had called me but upon listening to voicemails later when time allowed, I found out it was someone else and he never answered me back via chat or phone. I called Turo, and Turo did offer that I could take car back for refund, however my busy schedule would not permit and I was stuck with this car. I’ve rented beautiful cars from Turo in the past with great owners. This is my first bad experience. I do not recommend this car or owner after my experience.
