Description

One of the few offered on Turo, the Performance Model 3 with the performance (race) upgrade package. Sticks to the road like glue and can turn on a dime. This rocket ship is also imbued with the magic of FSD (Full Self Driving) Option. Generous mileage allowance, road trip! This Model 3 is the most fun car that I have ever driven or had the pleasure to own, including my Model S P85D. The car is 1000 pounds lighter than the Model S and this translates into the driver felling more connected to the road. It’s a real kick, you’re gonna hate returning it. Has free supercharging, so don’t worry about gas money. Version 3.0 hardware. *** Caution: FEES can apply, MUST read guidelines below. *** Now imagine the line above blinking. Parking details

There is an epidemic of car break-ins in San Francisco, especially when street parking overnight. Do not leave any items visible from the outside, they will smash the window and grab anything they can. Also, do not leave any valuables in the car, see link. https://www.model3club.com/tesla-model-3-being-targeted-by-thieves/ https://www.reddit.com/r/teslamotors/comments/a44p1n/model_3_break_in_in_mountain_view/ https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.spotangels.com/blog/sf-parking-car-break-ins/ Try to keep the car plugged in overnight if you can.

Guidelines

tldr: 1) Do not overuse supercharger, $1/min overage fee 2) Return with full charge 3) Do not go below 5 miles of range while driving, or park overnight with less than 50 miles of range 4) Hand car wash only 5) Make sure you know how to put it into neutral for car wash 6) Small to medium sized dogs, woof! Supercharging is free, however, be careful not to leave the car plugged in at a Supercharging station after the charging is complete. Tesla's fee is $1/minute, the stations are becoming full and they are now enforcing this policy. Never Zero! A low battery is not good for the battery, and in the extreme, going empty could require a flatbed from Tesla Service and could cost around $600. Also, the car will consume some energy even when turned off. Try to avoid reaching a charge range of fewer than 5 miles when driving or less than 50 miles when parked overnight. Have it plugged in overnight if possible. When you pick up the car, someone at the Turo Valet parking lot will give you brief orientation if you are new to driving a Tesla. Make sure you know how to put it into neutral if you are taking it through a car wash. Tesla Instructional Videos htt

The car wasn’t spotless inside but certainly clean enough to enjoy. Performance wise it was a great car and the free supercharging is huge. Communication was great even through Turo was down the exact minute we were checking out. Would totally rent from Steffen again!

First time using Turo and it was a great experience. The host Steffen was easy to communicate with and was happy for me rent his car out. The Tesla Model 3 was an amazing experience. The auto pilot mode was incredible. I would definitely book with Steffen again.

We drove Steffen’s Model 3 Performance from SF to LA and back through the PCH and it was the absolute perfect car for the drive. Nimble and lightning quick making it perfect for winding coastal roads. Tesla’s supercharger network has also expanded making the trip super easy with a very small amount of pre-planning for range - and you save so much compared to driving a gas car the same distance. Steffen was super personable, remote unlocked the car for us and was easy to communicate with. Would absolutely rent this car with Steffen again!
