This car is an Automatic. We have more than 1,200 trips down as Turo hosts. This is important because we have seen just about everything and every person from around the world has been able to get into their cars in about 5 minutes once they get to the car. Let's face it, when you come to Florida, don't you want to feel the sun and the wind in your hair, if you have some, unlike me? You can rent a boring car someplace else, or go back to it when you are done with your trip to the Sunset State. This is an Automatic Transmission. The top is easy to put down with a push of the button and this car is fun to drive. This is the second Mini we have, though the first one is too old to list on Turo,. My wife picked the color. I picked the car. Whether your dream vacation involves cruising the Pacific Coast Highway with the top down or carving through the mountains for the day, this is the perfect sports car for you. Go-Kart handling, comfortable ride, and 35+mpg makes this a car that you can actually afford to drive on longer trips! The trunk is surprisingly large for a smaller car and can easily fit a full size carry-ons along with a tote bag as shown in pictures below. How do Tolls work? There is a toll transponder on the car. Use it by simple taking a FL toll road and take the SunPass/EZ-Pass lanes. The transponder can also be used to enter/exit airport parking lots without tickets. Any Tolls incurred during your trip will be requested at the end of your trip via App. simply take take the on tolls roads. Do NOT bring your own mobile Toll transponder/pay coins/cash as you will be double-charged. The toll transponder is 027877481010

Thanks for choosing to rent with us. You are picking the car up at Punta Gorda Airport. (Sometimes people select the wrong airport) This airport is quick to get into your car (5 mins from getting your luggage to getting to the car.) You will have to pay for parking, but it is cheap and often less than $10. (You pay by credit card)It So, please be prepared to do that. The basic procedure is the car will be parked in the long-term parking lot across from the terminal. You should reach the car in 5 mins or less. (You will get the row for the parking spot about 2 hrs before your scheduled trip) We can tell you the row, but there aren’t parking spot numbers. (Don’t worry, it is not a huge lot). Once you get to the car, you will take some pictures, upload them, and get the lockbox code sent to you once you upload the pictures. You will get instructions on how to open it with the code.( More than 1,000 people have done it with these instructions) You will put it in and go on your way. There is a Sun Pass transponder in the car window so go through all tolls in the state of Florida without paying. We will file a reimbursement request for tolls from you at the end of the trip. Thanks. Brad P.S. You won’t get the parking location until about 2 hrs before along with a picture uploaded in your trip photos. You will get the lockbox instructions 1 hr before the start of your trip because insurance doesn’t allow you access any earlier. Reminder, you are responsible for paying for parking. '

We reserve the right to charge for professional detailing & any repairs if vehicle is not brought back in excellent condition. 3.) Please return the vehicle with same level of fuel or use our pre-paid fuel option for convenience. (Premium only, kindly save receipts so we can verify type of fuel or you will be charged) 4) No Smoking/E-Cigs/Vape Pens (even with the top down) 5.) No Pets 6.) No track use, burnouts, or aggressive driving. All vehicles are equipped with performance/GPS trackers and we will charge for abusive behavior or tampering with trackers. 7.) Have fun!! I was very disappointed with this experience. I should have suspected something when the photos failed to include the rear end of the vehicle. When i arrived at the car i saw the back end had been rear-ended! Nothing was shared to me by Brad. When i expressed my frustrations i received excuses: the accident just happened…i didn’t think you would want to cancel your reservation…my wife has been gone all month and it’s been really busy…Turo is just a part time job for me. Bottom line: Brad should have: a) uploaded photos showing the damaged rear end (he has since done this so the next person that rents will know what they’re getting), and b) made me aware of the accident PRIOR to my renting so I could have made the decision on whether or not i wanted to drive around with a dented rear end. He said he couldn’t discount the price—but he would discount my next rental. No thanks, Brad…there won’t be a next rental.
There is a slight dent in the back. The car drives fine and I do my best.

The car was wonderful for our visit. It was very clean and perfect for our holiday visiting family. However, my experience with Brad was not the best and I felt he was rather rude. Because of that, I will not rent from him again.
Sorry to hear that. It would have been nice if you mentioned that. I know you had more trouble any of our 1,500 previous renters in following the instructions, but I was never rude but explained to you repeatedly what I needed to make the rental happen.
