This is a smooth Ride. It's a Chevy Volt, so if the Battery is fully charged...you'll get about 30 miles on pure electric...no cost to you (I cannot promise it will always have a full battery)! Of course, if the electric runs out...then it has a gas tank that kicks in automatically! So you'll ride the rest of the way on the gas tank. This Car REQUIRED PREMIUM GAS! I do not expect you charge (the battery of) the car when you are done, but I do expect you to fill the gas up! It has On-Star so the mileage is tracked very well and exact. So just fill up the car if you use gas! Day Trips during the week, I have found that most short trips won't even need gas! Unfortunately, no pets are allowed. I added an image of a typical trip of about 100 miles. The blended electric and gas MPG was over 40! Note: Day renters on a weekend...It takes about 6 hours for the car to get a full charge, if my volt gets returned on Saturday at 8 AM, and you rent it at 10 AM...you won't have much of a charge or any charge.
