It takes about 30 minutes for a recharge. For convenience, we front the cost of any electricity used during your trip, which you then reimburse us upon return of the Tesla. HOW DO I CHARGE THE TESLA? Charging a Tesla is easier and more convenient than filling up a car with gas. All you need to do is enter your destination into the navigation and if charging is needed, the Tesla will automatically include charging stops along the way. It will even let you know the additional time that will be added to your trip with the charge stop. WHAT CHARGE LEVEL DO I NEED TO RETURN THE TESLA WITH? To avoid fees, you will need to return the car at equal or greater charge than you received it. (Typically, this will be an 80% or greater charge level). » If returned below the charge level it was collected at but above 50% there is a $15 recharging fee. » If returned with a charge level between 20%-50% there's a $25 recharging fee. » If returned at a less than >20% charge level you will incur a $50 penalty fine. Should you have any issues with recharging during your trip please reach out to us and we will be happy to assist you. We have each vehicle CLEAN 🧽and DISINFECTED 🧼 the car after each trip. Including steering wheel, door handles, trunk latch, and any other surfaces that are touched frequently. ✨ We recommend taking photos of the Tesla at pick up and drop off.
